How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Player Feedback / Player Speed

    Too often, I find myself in battles where my opponent is a very slow player, either deliberately or just randomly. There should be a way to provide feedback on the player after the game based on player speed. After a decent amount of similar reports, these could be used to potentially assist in matchmaking. If is terribly annoying to watch the timer continuously run down in games, especially when you know they're looking around the board every single turn.

  2. Sparky stuck in "Hmmm."-ing out turn - Need a way to force Sparky's play

    Bug: As of 9/7/23 Sparky is stuck in "Hmmm."-ing on their turn to play. Is Sparky teaching roping as a valid strategy now?

    Situation: Sparky has any number of cards or even no cards in hand. It is Sparky's first main phase. I am in a winning position just playing cards to try to get to test a new card in my 100-card singleton deck. Sparky Hmmms for ~ 17 minutes, then I get the victory screen. Sparky doesn't even say "You got me!", such a sore loser! This happened today against Sparky's Blue, Black, Red, White, and Green decks.

  4. Talion is bugged

    Talion triggers on X spells even though he shouldn’t. My opponent chose 2, and Talion triggered when I cast Old Stickfingers for X=3. This should have had a mana value of 5 on the stack and Talion should not have triggered but it did.

  5. Bladecoil serpent getting +1/+0 and haste by paying blue mana

    I was playing in Standard Play when i casted a Bladecoil Serpent paying:

    3 black mana
    2 blue mana
    1 colorless mana from mirrex

    The expected effect was:
    Opponent discards one card (2 black)
    I draw a card (2 blue)

    The actual effect was:
    Opponent discarded one card (2 black)
    Bladecoil serpent getting +1/+0, trample and haste (red mana)

  6. Halo Forager Freeze

    I want to report a bug with the Halo Forager that costed me a limited draft game. Casted it, but I did input 0 by mistake for X cost. I clicked <back> however it would not let me input a new value for X, had to wait for timeout and lost my turn. Ended up with a loss.

  7. Beseech The Mirror is bugged

    Was just playing and Beseech the Mirror has to be bugged with some crazy shenanigans.

    My OP is using bargain to sacrifice so they're able to cast the card that is searched for, but the Bargained card is going back into their hand, ultimately creating a prison effect while looping The One Ring. There was a Rest In Peace in play, so whatever was sacrificed should just be exiled.

    Step 1. Bargain Beseech the Mirror
    Step 2. They cast the free spell.
    Step 3. The bargained card is supposed to be sacrificed, but is now in their hand.

  8. Extra Turns Not Stacking Properly

    I used Emrakul, the Promised End to control my opponent's next turn, and then they got an extra normal turn afterward. During their mind controlled turn, I had them cast Time Warp on me. According to CR 500.7, the most recently created extra should be taken first; however, Arena had my opponent take their Emrakul extra turn first.

  10. Imodane Bug With Cursed Role

    "Imodane, the Pyrohammer"s ability to deal damage to an opponent did not trigger for me when Imodane had a cursed role on - the rules text on Arena was still on the card's face, but when casting a Cut In to deal 4 damage to an opposing creature (which resolved), the ability did not trigger.

    Naturally, this was my game at 6-2 of a draft and I died while my opponent was on 4... can this be looked into please. Playing on Windows PC

  11. FIX YOUR ALGORITHM

    HOLY **** AM I GETTING MORE AND MORE FKING DONE WITH THIS GAME, I have played magic for a decade, magic online and table top. I have played other card games online and never have i ever experienced the most fking frustrating shtiest gd dam shuffling algorithm as i have with this trashcan of a game. It is becoming stpid predictable how my hands will turn out based on starting hand. oop 2-3 land hands well fk me i wont draw a land till it is too late and my opponent wins....it has been YEARS since that one dude did…

  12. INFINITY MISSION

    Around the time a new set is implemented, a bug sometimes occurs where missions do not progress as indicated and only rewards are earned indefinitely.
    This is very annoying because players either assume that the mission is not progressing and repeat play, or they notice the bug and are forced to stop play to prevent the exploit.
    It also makes it difficult to play normally, as some players exploit the bug and leave the game after casting one spell.

  14. Daily missions won’t proceed.

    Today daily missions are not proceeding from attached situation which means I lose 1,750 earning today. Appreciate if you compensate by your side.

  15. Deck limit

    Set a deck limit size or punish larger decks. Every other game is a deck with over 100 cards that NEVER bricks. The algorithm always allows for a balanced for OVERSIZED decks. Its not fun trying to beat an endless deck pool with an actual 60 standard deck. There's so little reports of this because most of your players abuse this mechanic in your game software. Its just unfun to play when every game again an OVERSIZED deck is an guaranteed loss

  16. Ratadabrik + Boromir loop causes opponent to rope

    Platform: PC

    Situation: One player executes the inifite loop of Ratadabrik + Boromir (sacrificing Boromir over and over to Ratadabrik, turning the Boromir token legendary with the Ring Tempt in order to loop).

    Expected result: The person executing the infinite loop should run up their timer ("roping"), reaching a point where they are not allowed to take more actions that turn and initiative passes to the other player.

    Actual result: The person executing the infinite loop never ropes, but their opponents timer is started (and eventually runs out), denying the opponent their right to take actions while the person executing…

  17. Palantir randomly not triggering at end of turn

    I have noticed lately that the palantir will randomly not trigger at the end of a turn. There were no board effects that would have prevented it but it just skipped it at the end of my turn twice on two separate occasions in my latest game.
