This page is for reporting bugs and submitting product suggestions. If you are experiencing issues with your account, with an order, or otherwise need customer support, please click here. 

How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. In a match while still in the home screen

    Started pioneer bo1 queue, had to cancel briefly for irl reasons upon hitting cancel it returns to home screen as is normal, but when I re-queue it immediately loads me into a match on my 2nd turn. So the server put me in a game while my client believed I was not. Most likely this is a desync cause by the game finding a match at the same moment I try to cancel it which is not a huge deal on match queue but could be pretty serious in an event queue.

  2. Cursor moves on its own

    While playing a match in the Omnipath draft event my cursor began to drift on screen. At first thought it was an issue with my mouse but after tabbing out saw that wasn't the case, and as the game progressed it periodically got worse and worse until it was impossible to play at all as my clicks didn't register anymore, and as a result cost me my first loss out of three I'm allowed in the event, very frustrating overall as I've tested it out in bot matches after and saw the issue persisted both in game and in the…

  3. Torrential Gearhulk incorrect registration

    Torrential Gearhluk is registered as a rare card while it's mythic rare. Please, fix it. I lost a rare wildcard because of that.

  4. extremely slow

    I run MTGA by my HP PC. As I get into the main user interface everything is OK. But when I click "play" “decks” button or try to do anything else that come into other interface, the entire application go into an extremely slow situation. The phrase "wait for the services" appear on the screen and last for minutes and than the program lost its response. I try to restart the computer but it doesn't work. All these happened just after an update in Jan 7th. I am in China and I have to use accelerator to link the services.…

  5. Randomly kicked back to last menu

    Happens often that I will be playing a match and the game will either kick me back to the Main Menu or whatever the last game mode launch menu was.

    The only way to get back into the match is to kill arena with Task Manager and relaunch the game.
    And this will sometimes happen multiple times per match. This has happened in just about every game mode and has been an issue for months. It is very frustrating in general but especially when it happens during a ranked match.

  6. Unable to open game - error updating data

    The game will not open, it says error updating data. My connection is just fine and functioning perfectly. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have the same issue.

  7. Transparent Goblin Avatar popping up when clicking on Events

    Just experienced a bug. For some reason, it pops in when I click on an event tab, then go back. my work around is just go to another event, then go back to the main screen. But it's just annoying.

  9. Not receiving awards/coins in MTG Arena

    I'm not receiving awards/coins for winning matches in MTG Arena. Tried logging out and logging back in. Nothing is working.

    I am unable to play standard ranked because I think the account is still somehow stuck in the tutorial.

    Each player should have a ping/connection indicator. When there is an error in connection, it looks like the opponent is often disconnected, when in fact unbeknownst to the player, we are disconnection

  14. Sleeve selection crashes on Windows 11 Steam

    I recently switched from the Windows MTGA app to using Steam (on Windows 11). When editing decks, if I try to edit the sleeve, the game crashes while trying to load the list of sleeves.

  15. Animations Running Slower than Normal

    Animations are running slower than usual. This is happening at all points in the client, including the menu and within a match. It makes games impossible, as the timer starts counting down while I'm waiting for animations. I have since stopped playing for the last month waiting for it to get fixed, but still it hasn't so reporting a bug. I attempted to attach a video but it kept failing. Feel free to reach out to procure the screen capture.

  18. Cannot Log In / Lost Connection to Server 2025.10.29

    Beginning Oct. 28, 2025 (after the Avatar update), I’ve not been able to log into the Arena app on either Windows home computer on home network, nor on iOS iPhone 15 on any other network.
    The app asks for my login credentials, then freezes for approximately 90 seconds, then says that I’ve lost connection to the server and gives me the option to ‘Check Status’, ‘Reconnect’, or ‘Log Out’.

  20. error with enchantment flash and counter spell

    i had a counter spell, to counter an enchantment with flash, after play the enchantment, i CANT COUNTER IT

    but the counter and the mana was there, i never get the priority on the table to counter it
