1. Borderless Anime Styles: Rarity Shifts & Cosmetics in the Store

   Specifically, Smothering Tithe and As Foretold are rarity shifted reprints in WOT which cannot be used with the previous printings as the client considers rarity shifted cards as completely different entities and will not allow for users to equip cards from the original Arena printing with the new cardstyle, therefore requiring users to recraft cards from the corresponding printing.

   I imagine that the likelihood of having it so all cardstyles are usable across all rarities is unlikely, but I believe it would be the optimal solution.

   Failing that I would appreciate if this was at least better communicated in the client that owning a previous printing does not mean you can utilize these cardstyles unless you craft them at their new rarity.

   While precedent for this restriction exists with Faithless Looting and it's associated cardstyle being locked to the rare STA printing, it was the first printing of Faithless looting and was only available at rare when the card style was sold.

   The new cardstyles for As Foretold and Smothering Tithe are for cards that have existed on the client for a while and as such many who would buy the styles own the previous printings and are not crafting the new printing, and can thus be saddled with a cardstyle they cannot use.

3. Golden packs containing cards that are not standard-legal

   According to https://magic.wizards.com/en/mtgarena/drop-rates, golden packs will include:
   "At least one card per pack will be Mythic from any standard-legal set, 2 cards will be Rare or Mythic from the latest set, and the final 3 cards will be Rare or Mythic from any current standard-legal set."
   This means 4 cards will come from any standard-legal set, and 2 will be guaranteed to come from WOE. Because LTR is neither standard-legal nor the most recent set, these cards should not appear in golden packs.

   As a standard-only player, this hugely devalues golden packs and is honestly incredibly disappointed. I went from being excited to spend all my gold on packs for the new set today to not even wanting to bother at all.

5. Opened WOE free 3 packs but 1 pack missing

   On PC I got WOE free 3 packs from inbox.

   After opening the first pack, an empty message box is displayed. After pressing the ok button I opened the rest of the packs and found that there were 2 packs left that I could open. When I opened the Collection, I found only the cards in the 2 packs that were opened later.

   Then I bought 1 pack from the store to open it and found that it can be opened normally.

6. Purchase of Event Items

   I have 11,325 gold and I went to purchase a sticker set that has only 1 day left to buy. I hit the purchase button, but an error pops up saying I don't have enough gold. I have the dragon stickers in the bundle so the price dropped down to 3,950 gold. I would really like to buy the Baldur's Gate Sticker emotes.

   Wrong artwork attributed to Eowyn card. The image on the card does not match the image provided by the Tolkein estate for Eowyn, and instead misattributes a random image to the card.

11. Make Mastery Pass Benefits Clearer

    I purchased the Mastery Pass for LoTR and after watching numerous online videos of what I would receive by purchasing the Mastery Pass, I did not receive what I was told I would. I then had some back and forth with WoTC customer service and they eventually refunded me the pass (which I did very much appreciate), as I was not pleased with the purchase.

    They did say however that there was no bug and I received the proper items, which were much smaller than I was lead to believe, so I think it would be very helpful to players to make it very clear (maybe show an itemized list) of what they receive immediately upon purchasing the pass, and what is later received by grinding levels. Initially it looks like buying it should just unlock the whole mastery tree, which isn't true. It is not even remotely clear what is received, it was so confusing. Please make it clearer to players what they are buying with the Mastery Pass so they can make a more informed purchase. Your customer base would feel much more respected I assure you. Thank you for your time!

    The offerings lately in the store have been pretty weak all LOTR season. Also like to point out the 14, yes count them FOURTEEN, consecutive rounds with no rewards at the end of the Mastery was very much noticed by all players and looks really petty of you.

13. Have been receiving gems in packs rather than Rares for LTR

    1. For the past 10+ packs I've opened for Lord of the Rings, I've received gems instead of rares despite having only collected 268/292 rares. The mythics didn't seem to be affected. My concern is this will carry-over to Wilds of Eldraine, and I will want to full-complete those sets as I had wanted to with LTR.
       
    2. I'm using MTG Arena in Epic Games for Mac OS X.
    3. I continue to receive the gems when opening Lord of the Rings LTR packs, haven't verified if it's affecting other sets. Most sets I have 100% completion on.
    4. The expected result was to receive a rare that I have not yet collected a playset of from my pack.
    5. Unfortunately I have to use my resources to purchase a pack for the screenshot. :(

16. Bought the 10 Mystic Alchemy Pack of Lord of the Rings but didnt get much of the wild cards

    I bought the 10 Mystic Alchemy Pack (13000) Gold which has given me the 1 Gold Pack and 10 Mystic Alchemy Pack to open. After hitting the Open all Pack for the 10 Mystic, it only showed me 1 set of what I gained and only got 1 Mystic wild card with few uncommon. I didn't get much of the wild cards and not even sure how many cards or wild card did I get out of it since it didnt display everything.

17. Arena and Other MTG Related Complaints

    First some background... Magic has LONG been my favorite game! I have been playing since circa 1995. I love Lord of the Rings. I have spent over $4,000 to complete a full foil and non-foil set...

    However, recent Magic related issues have me rather frustrated with Wizards and Hasbro.

    The first is the longest and is related to Arena... I will begin with it, since it's already typed out...

    I have long considered your mastery pass to be broken and overpriced. Still, I was seriously considering buying it this season. But then I actually looked at it and my play history this season.

    Since LTR came out, I have played 52 drafts, including 286 games. At roughly 10 minutes per game, that's an estimated 2,860 minutes, or 47.7 hours, or just under 2 days of playtime! Yet somehow, I am only at mastery pass level 52!!!

    Are you kidding me? Even if with this completely unreasonable amount of play this season, I am only 5/8ths of the way through the mastery pass. At this pace, if I were to buy it, I would likely miss out on 7 card skins (orbs), 1 companion, 300 gems, 4 mythics, 5 boosters, 1 card sleeve, 1000 coins, and 7 more card skins!!! And that's with me earning an estimated 5 more levels these last 18 days.

    How is that even possible?!?!

    Well, let me tell you...

    First, you place some sort of limit on the mastery pass XP I can earn in a day, which makes absolutely no sense! I have a wife, a job, and 3 kids. There are some days I can play more than others and some day's I cannot play at all. Over the last 3 months (since my first LTR draft on 6/1, I have played on Arena 30 days. Some days I only played a couple games, while others I played up to 30 games!!! Yet I am punished by your rewards system for not pacing my games out to play every day.

    Next issue:

    Like I said, I love LOTR. I got two of the map lands through an in-store event tie-in to Arena. Yet there is no way for me to get the other map lands. They were only available as a bundle - why would I pay for something I already have?!?

    Which brings me to cosmetics... The pricing on cosmetics is absolutely out of wack with the digital-only worth of the items. The full map lands bundle is currently in the store for 5,000 gems. Based on gem prices ($50 for 9,200), that's $27.17 in real-world currency to make my lands LOOK DIFFERENT in a digital game! If I wanted to make my real-world deck look different in the same way, it would only cost me apx. $5.25 ($0.21*25 lands). There is a severe disconnect between the price of Arena cosmetics and any semblance of a fair value to the player.

    Next, the pricing for the Commander Masters (and other Masters sets for that matter) is getting out of hand! I can understand the higher price for the LTR set, given Wizards need to pay for the IP. But the CM set is roughly double the LTR packs! I have a real job and make real money. Yet I still cannot afford to keep up with the astronomical pricing for what you see as 'premium' sets. Like I said, I spent $4k on LTR... I have spent exactly $0 on Commander Masters.

    Finally, a customer service related gripe. My son played in the LTR prerelease and did not get a die in his prerelease pack. I submitted a request to Wizards and did not hear back for almost two months. By then, any cards, packaging, etc. my son had opened was gone and/or mixed into our collection. Yet customer service denied my request because my 15-year-old hadn't taken photos of his stuff when the opened them. I wouldn't expect a child, who is simply excited to be playing a game, to know they should take a picture because something was missing. Had it been my daughter, who also played - she could not have taken a picture because we don't want her to have a phone yet.

    Oh... and one last thing... stop making cards that pringle! I've even had non-foils that get warped in the middle and 'pop' back and forth when pressed in the center.

    All in all, the quality and value of Magic products and support has been increasingly disappointing!

    I'm using an android phone and I can't look at what over half the products are in the store l. I tap the images then they just minimize again I hold over image/product in bundle it doesn't show me an enlarged view of the item I'm trying to look at in the bundle it's ridiculous how do you expect anyone to buy anything if they cant tell what they are actually buying? And no I'm not about to look up every individual card talk about a waste of time. That and I have no idea what any of the other products are that aren't cards besides maybe sleeves and pets. . .

19. Throne of Eldraine unexpected pack opening behavior

    1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug Open 2 packs for Throne of Eldraine
    2. Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS) PC
    3. Enter the actual results you’re experiencing Receive Gems reward, not expected Rare or Mythic card.
    4. Enter the expected results of the feature Expected a Rare or Mythic card when opening pack.
    5. Add any relevant screenshots/videos Currently have 221 of 276 rares and 70 or 88 Mythics collect in Throne of Eldraine. Opened 2 packs after winning 2 packs in recent draft event.
    6. If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps. none.
