Stuck at waiting for server
Whenever I try to login using my account, the launcher will go through preparing assets then it will give me an orange spinning ring that says waiting for server.
My Husband also has MTGA so I had him see if his game works, it does. his works fine on his computer. Except if i try to login on his computer it prepares assets then gets stuck at waiting for server again.
I spent 3 days going back and forth with tech support, changing settings, uninstalling, reinstalling, using different internet connections. They checked to make sure I don't have any bans or whatever, and then they sent me here.
It started on April 16th, the day of an update.

In my case I can't even launch the game itself. After the starting phase where it loads the card database etc... the screen shows the usual "waiting for the server" writing with the red spinning circle and it doesn't do anything else and I can't access to the main menu. This problem begun after the last update. WOTC please fix it,thanks.

I managed to even play a match with a real opponent, but I still can't get my last color challenge to work.

@bonjwa#14294 - That worked for me! Thank you for posting your feedback. Anybody still having this issue should give this a try. You can unlock play mode in full in your account settings, then start a pvp queue and immediately cancel once it starts searching. After that go back to the final color challenge and if it works for you like it worked for us then everything should be fine now. What a bug.

What worked for me - go select play and start looking for a single match vs opponent (so option play under find a match). This surprisingly does not get stuck on waiting for server - you can cancel the search and go back to your last color match and this will work now. Maybe I was lucky but give it a try.”

Adding my voice as well. Restarted PC, restarted the router, reinstalled game, cleared cache. Does it on iPhone, iPad, and PC all the same. Stuck with the waiting for server spinning circle. Fix it, Wizards, it is on your end. No way this carries over from PC to iPad without it being your issue.

Le "color challenge" est effectivement bugé, et après toutes mes recherches rien sur le net ne permet de régler le problème définitivement
Voici donc comment se débarrasser de ce foutu challenge et commencez à jouer !
STEP 1 : LANCER LE JEU
STEP 2 : APPUYER SUR ECHAP
STEP 3 : CLIC SUR COMPTE (en bas à gauche)
STEP 4 : CLIC SUR "DEBLOQUEZ TOUT LES CONTENUS
STEP 5 : JOUEZBisous

I have the same problem. you can skip the tutorials in the account section in options. at least you can start playing pvp.

I have the same problem. The circle orange "waiting for the server" never finish. Unistall and reinstall the game in my phone android and PC, but the problem it's here again and again. Clean cache, connected at diferent ip, and I try other things. I don't know how more doing.

I can’t finish color challenge as well. Tried on mobile and PC, both are having the same bug. Says waiting for server on hitting play for the last match.

Same for me here, unable to finish any Color Challenge. I had the account before, so I don't even want to play these challenges, I just want to play with real players my decks, but I can't, because I need to complete the challenges to continue.

I'm pretty sure this is a deliberate bug to prevent people making smurf accounts. But I wonder if it affects genuinely new players too.

I am new to MTGA and wanted to finish the Color Challenge but I am stuck when trying to finish last quest of each color --> "waiting for server"
What I did so far:
- Flush DNS and Winsock Reset
- changing router setting and port forwarding
- tried on PC (Windows), IPad pro and Huawei 20 pro
- used different networks incl. mobile internetWhat a frustrating start... Well I guess I play other games then.
Edit:
I can play Bot Matches an receive rewards.
So I guess my connection settings are working and it seems MTGA is bugged and needs to be fixed.
