Outdated Client Version
Game doesn't launch since today patch with an "Outdated Client Version" issue.
I'm running MTG Arena under Unbuntu with wine (Play on Linux)
Thanks

What works for me is basically running the MTGAInstaller.exe inside the prefix with your Magic: The Gathering Arena installation. It triggers the download, then will open the game and trigger in-game update also.

Wizards: the dev team made a conscious decision to show that "Outdated Client" screen instead of pulling the patch from the server. I downloaded the installer and it patched the program and I'm in.
The next manual update I do should be my last! Get with the program!

I can't install the game through the official website installer, when I run it it just wont launch the install wizard.
So every time that there is a update i have to download the .msi installer located in a pinned post on the forum. The problem is that the post is not being updated with the latest .msi file, so I can't update my game to play for 4 days now.
This post should be updated right along side when the new updates drop. Better yet would be to fix the website official installer so we can have the game auto update without having to go to this hasle every time.

I have the same problem. I downloaded the client yesterday and now I am having a new issue. For some reason the client won't let you choose the install directory anymore??

Seriously? I'm here after the June 27th issue. Is this a re-occurring issue??
