waiting for the server
Stuck at "waiting for server" after paying to play the new cube draft. I would like my coins refunded and a fix so I can actually play in the draft again.
Tive o mesmo problema no ''neon arcade'' e no ''draft premium'', muito triste perder a partida por estar reconectando com o servidor, já testei minha internet e não havia problema nenhum com ela, gostaria de reaver as minhas moedas, poderia até ser de forma parcial, pois eu fiquei com os packs do draft e tive um pouco do ouro de volta nos neon arcade, mas mesmo assim, esse problema esta me incomodando
Estoy jugando en Ranking Alchemy, perdi 2 partidas por "Waiting for the server", exijo bonifiquen mi perdida.
Same has happened to me when I purchased a premium draft event, would like a refund please.

Having problems with 'waiting for server' today on my PC. I can log on but when I try to play, I get 'waiting for server' so long I either have to hit 'cancel' before I get into the game or I get 'connection lost, you have lost your connection to the server'. I did get to play a couple of games but afterwards the same 'waiting for server' or 'connection lost'. I eventually have to close out MTGA. My log (which would not attach to this) is Log20210828_082747.
Yes, this works - I am playing on PC, and I completed the colour challenge now. There is no button named "Skip Tutorial", but "Unlock all game modes" has the same effect.
I hope WOTC comes up with an actual fix though, convoluted workarounds are not exactly ideal. However, I am giving this game another chance.
Seemingly working workaround, copying from Reddit:
I, like others, have been unable to complete to color challenge. Wizards has recognized the issue and provided instruction on how to skip the challenge here: https://twitter.com/wizards_help/status/1398405042672222211?s=21
Once you skip the color challenge, you will have access to battle other players. This option will allow you to work around the bug.
Disclaimer: I have not tried this on PC. It does work on iPad and iPhone.
Step one: Click the play button in the bottom right.
Step two: Under “Find Match” select play.
Step three: Click play at the bottom right.
Step four: Immediately click cancel before it finds an opponent.
Step five: Click play at the bottom right again, but this time select color challenge.
You should now be able to get a match and complete the 5th step of the challenge. You will need to repeat this process for each color. Also, after step 4, I was still able to complete a challenge by clicking the color challenge bubble and starting the match through that route.
Final Color challenge match will not start.... Waiting for the server... all other Arena screens work fine

I've been having the exact same issue as Sigmar#80778 below. I downloaded the game last night, and now am stuck on the "Waiting for the Server..." screen at the final color challenge match. I went through the same fix attempts as the others here, but I hoped things would be better today.

I'm having the same exact issue here. I just installed this game. I went through the tutorial and then I got stuck on the "quest" to finish the colour challenge. I tried everything except for buying an American VPN which a video online suggests might resolve the problem. What I did try, however, is rebooting my computer, reinstalling MTG Arena, flushing my DNS and doing a Winsock reset, changing my DNS server, and messing with the port-forwarding (which required me rebooting my router and having to go through a rigmarole with my ISP). So far I've wasted about 3 hours of my time and the game is still not working.
The best part is, I quit playing video games about 6 years ago and this is my very first experience trying to play again. Really frustrating.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue as Sigmar#80778. Only installed MGTA a few days ago. trying to complete the color challenges and get stuck "waiting for the server" on the final match.
I just started playing the game, went through the tutorial and am now issued the "quest" to finish the colour challenge with my first match against a real player. The "Waiting for the Server" spinning wheel of death sucks all motivation out of me to actually get into the game.
And no, WOTC agent, there is no troubleshooting necessary: The install is fresh, Windows10 is up to date, and my internet connection is fine. I play lots of online games, all without issues. Your game is the only one that prevents me from actually playing it. Considering how many players give you this feedback, you might want to see that the problem is indeed on your part. Well, good luck getting my money now...
Same issue (still). Play one match, "Waiting for server" have to close and launch again. I would think WOTC would have someone able to handle the issue working the weekend with an event going on...
Today during my MTG arena open I have had the "waiting for server alot". Mainly between matches. It was only after matches so just annoying. But during my second event it happened during a match. No option to report a bug, nothing. I ended up closing and reopening and it displayed a match loss. I have not had this problem before. I am assuming it is related to the tournament.
I was considering joining the Arena Open today until I kept getting stuck on the "waiting for the server" window... This is very discouraging. I've had so much of my time wasted today between matches or even just trying to navigate MTGA. I've tried closing/ restarting the program and my computer. I missed a few draft picks while in Premier Draft earlier due to this issue and while trying to play the draft have spent almost an hour "waiting for the server" window. I would like my coins refunded and the issue to be fixed so I can play in the future. No one likes their time wasted. I feel bad for those participating in the Sealed Open dealing with this all day.
