same here, MTGA crashed randomly at game ends, start, or playing certain cards. Crash happens about once every 5 min. It's even worse than when MTGA came out on mac...

Same problem here, every time I launch a game, it just crashes. It's just so annoying to restart every time....

I was able to play MTGA fine on MacBook Pro since last September. Sadly, about perhaps a month and a half ago though the game crashes and freezes. I try to reboot and jump back in game by then they skip my turn and I lose matches. There’s no point in playing ranked play anymore. Wizards, you need to remedy this. It looks like a lot of people are suffering the same problem. I like to play MTG, but if this continues you’re going to lose any people playing on a Mac to not play draft, sealed, any tournaments or ranks. Please respond Wizards, thank you.

Just installed the game and it's glitchy and full of issues. Very disappointing as my first entry into Magic the Gathering

An update as to when you might release a program that doesn't crash after games? Pathetic service to date. Plenty of other card games out there, that work, that I'm happy to spend money on instead!

I'm experiencing the same problem. After most matches, after the victory or defeat symbols, the game crashes.

Same problem here since VoW came out. first the ongoing quick drafts which werent timed to end yet got force-resigned and now, whenever i start MTG arena via Epic Games and leave it open for a bit, it causes Kernel Errors dealing with the GPU that the Mac really only recovers from after restarting, even if MTG arena is closed after these errors have started(im on a MBP2017, with Mojave as the OS). No problems like this at all before this patch.

Same problem with imac and iOS 10.13. Uninstalled and reinstalled everything with no luck. I managed to get the music but no picture. Please help!!!

I played Wednesday evening, no problem. Didn't attempt to launch yesterday as work and things prohibited me from logging on. Woke up this morning to attempt to launch and run through the update that takes a bit of time, but the game will not launch. I have tried to launch from Epic Games and from just launching from "Finder" with no luck. The Arena start screen never comes up and I get the "Arena stopped running" failure.

I have uninstalled Arena from Epic Games. Uninstalled Epic Games launcher as well. Turned off Mac, unplugged Mac, waited 10 minutes, plugged Mac back in, held power button for 5 secs, heard the start-up sound, released power button, Mac started. Installed Epic Games launcher and Arena to only have the same issue.

Thank you for updating the failure/error reason. MTGA will not run on less than 10.13.x on the Mac.

I played Wed. night. woke up Thursday morning, tried launching Arena, and it won't launch says it needs to be uninstalled and updated. I did that, and now it won't luanch, but runs fine on my iPhone. Hire some skilled programmed for God's sake. WOC sucks.

Same crashes here. Today I played in 3 sealed tournaments. In each of them mtg arena crashed at least once, necessitating me to hard reboot and relaunch, and losing the game.
I tried to exit mtg arena and relaunching it between games, but it doesn't prevent the crashes.
When it crashes, the whole system crashes, with display stuck, or incoherent, and no access to any command.
It is very anoying, as it costed me rewards, and in the future it seems very random to pay any event.
My computer never crashes besides using mtg arena, which I reinstalled today.
So I up this thread, hoping for solutions to be found.

Ok, this seems to be the most popular ticket about this general issue that so many people have on Mac, including myselft, so lets give it another voice. And it gets very frustrating that after month, nothing seems to be done to fix it..
So in my case: Run the game and everything good, after something like 30 min, first signs of crashes with some freezing moment, my mac enters in loading mode where I can’t do **** except hearing my mtg timer going down till eventually, I lose the game.. So out of the 2 drafts I did by now, I lost 2 games because of this issue, and a third one very likely too because I managed to restart my computer and the game before my 2 timers ran down but I already missed one tour (!). Sometimes I even need to force my mac to shut down by holding the power button for 3 sec, as the whole system is crashing. My screen gets crazy and nothing respond..
Please developers team, work on this as we do spend real money to play your game on a regular basis and it is not acceptable to read an issue like that all around the internet for months and not see any sort of solutions..
