Fade To Black
You know the feeling. You have set aside the time to play.
Draft or PreCon, it doesn't seem to matter. The result is the same.
Before you even get to see your hand draw, the game is over.
These are Dark Times for WOTC. Ever since Hasbro bought the co.
I've been playing since MirVLight and have a collection stretching all the way back to Unlimited. The last time I did an inventory I had amassed between 25 and 40 thousand little pieces of cardboard from this company.
My youngest son bought into Secret Lair at the start and then, most recently, just gave up when Godzilla moved in (an INSULT to our collective intelligence).
This kind of bug KILLS a game. Remember the Corrupted Blood of WoW?
How many players just threw up their hands and walked?
I've had every computer game Wizards has ever published, all the way back to Duels. I had HOPES for Arena. Rigorous Enforcement. Great graphics.
All for naught I now fear. Perhaps the game doesn't scale. Perhaps we are seeing the start of a Catastrophic Cascade of errors that will eventually lead to a complete rewrite (and failure) of the game. Sad to see.
No more competitive play, at perhaps the worst time, when we are all forced to stay home during a global pandemic. I long for Matchplay, Neutral Ground and my old friends there.
What have we traded for that experience? Arena is a poor substitute...
Fix this NOW. Before it is too late.

They don't care about you, me, or any of their player base. The only care about cash generation through hairbrained schemes involving overpowered cards that get the whales to overspend to win games. The state of the game is a joke with "I WIN" cards being the norm in meta.
They have destroyed the reputation of a great enterprise in two years that was built over two decades. The fall of WotC will be glorious.
Still failing 7/4
