Black screen on match start
While in the menu everything is ok but when match start the screen become black but the sound still ok (if i move the cursor i can ear the sound of card mulligan).
The only whay to not concede is to set the resolution on the lowest, but usually cause visual bug on the board or/and artwork on the card disappear.
Please fix this issue, i'm loving this game
Update works. Still we lost more than a full day for the season pass (and they charge money for skipping a level). No refund, compensation or what so ever?
There's an update that seems to have fixed the issue. Use the MtgaLauncher to open the game

System crashes in the middle of a draft. I've already lost countless games and lost gems as a result. I really want a refund for my gems, but here you don't even get an answer or a hint as to whether the complaints have been received. This is not how you deal with customers who invest money in a product. And certainly not if the customer suffers financial damage due to errors in the product. Slowly the total loss is no longer small.

Just hit the launcher and got an update and for now I'm in and its working! Hopefully it works for you guys too!
Was actually fine last night, did all my quests and some wins but today I get black screen after "loading initial scene" with music, moving mouse and even the quests bar sound (I think that's what it is) but nothing can be done.

Same for me on Mac, already not working for a day. I got to play a couple of matches yesterday immediately after the release, but then at the end of a match, Arena crashed and all I am getting now when I start the game is a black screen (with music). Have tried several hours to fix it with login in/out. My latest log is in attachment.
The last lines in the log seem to indicate that something is missing:

System stürzt mitten im Drafts ab. hab dadurch schon unzählige spiele verloren und dadurch Gems verloren. Ich möchte langsam echt eine Erstattung meiner Gems, doch hier bekommt man nicht mal eine Antwort oder Hinweis dazu ob die Beschwerden eingegangen sind. So geht man nicht mit Kunden, die Geld in ein Produkt stecken um. und das schon gar nicht wenn dem Kunde durch Fehler im Produkt finanzieller Schaden entsteht. Langsam ist der insgesamte Verlust nämlich nicht mehr gering.
Black screen logs
Same here. Black screen after "Waiting for the server screen". Tried restarting and reinstalling.
Same here. Uninstall/reinstall. No good. Gets through waiting for server, then just a black screen with sound. I also bought the mastery tree, so I'm missing out on XP too.
- Start the game
- logs automatically
- Gets endpoint file
- proceeds on the loading routines up to loading initial scene
- Black screen with Connecting to server
- Connecting to server disappears and that's it, black screen.
However I know it's not a login issue since if I open another instance of MTGA it shows the "you were disconnected" panel. I can logoff from there.
If instead of automatically connect I do it on my own it logs just fine but I still face the black screen
Tried reinstalling, didn't work.
Tried uninstalling and cleaning up everywhere I could find in the machine about the installation then reinstall, not only it didn't work but I couldn't clear the login cache.(not on appdata, where unity places stuff)
Interesting enough, I updated yesterday and was able to play a bit. It kinda started today.
Friends that skipped yesterday and went straight to play today everything is working just fine and thats why I thought it would be a local update bug.

Unistall/Install/Cmd/Clean the System.
Even tried the fix with creating a new account, it worked only twice...
Don't even waste your time with C redistributables, graphic cards drivers, or uninstalling/reinstalling the game. This is definitely an issue with their servers and our accounts. If you have any friends you trust with a working account, tell them to try yours while you have the game open with the black screen: this shows a pop-up prompting you to exit the game, reconnect or logout. If you try a "clean" account, you'll see that works just fine, and there's nothing wrong with your local install.
At some point with a combination of logout/login I even got my own account to work, but it was in weird broken state with the mastery menu and store locked. After a while I got the reconnect message and I was back to the black screen.
Getting the same. Last night got a dev tool screen between match as well
Was working fine until around noon i experienced a network disconnect that had me hang on the reconnect page, closed the window and rebooted pc, now it goes through the preloader everytime before giving me a waiting for server message for 5-10 seconds and then moves on to a black screen with the background music and arena mouse but nothing else.
Black screen for me since yesterday. ive uninstalled and reinstaled with no luck. ran MTGA as admin, did all that. even tried opening a 2nd instance of the game .. no dice. what I dont understand is why it works for some and not for others.
