There is indeed a kind of solution uninstall/reinstall. I have to do that every 3 days.

it has been impossible for me to play in the last days 'cause I open arena, it loads assets, etc. and then gets stuck in the "waiting for the server" message. the very few times it gets past it and I can play one game, the game ends and there we go "waiting for the server"

stuck for days now in "waiting for the server" screen, even after new installation the problem occures.

Aaaand... nevermind. After I miraculously got two games in, the server cannot be found.

I've had the same problem for roughly 4 days now and I haven't been able to play at all since thursday because game is stuck on the "waiting for server" screen (even if I leave it searching for hours). Anyone found a solution yet?
Update: And it's now working again... for no reason.

Mine started the 6th as well. a couple days of no-Teferi standard and now I can't get in to the game.

Same problem for me and after senfing the logs to the technical support, guess the answer :
"Based on the information you've supplied and the steps you've already tried, I’m sorry to say that we don't have any known solutions to the problem you're experiencing and are unable to advise you further. "

OK, the game doesn't work and they don'y know why !!!

They follow with :
"You may want to post on the forums or our bug submission site to see if any other players have found a way to resolve this specific issue. If you do find a solution, please let us know so that we can update our Connection Issues article and agent training with that solution."

Okayy, if I find a solution, I could tell them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same problem from yesterday

Same here. Game hangs after loading assets. Have no trouble connecting to anything else, just MTGA. Feels like the server is down but not showing as down. I'll try again in a little while.

someone else commented on the waiting for server thing today... i found my computer froze waitng for server for many hours upon logging in... even checked to see if it was the server down but they report up and running.... there have been unexplained internet and cellular problems today continent wide however ... that are still under explanation... but once everything else is back to normal mtgwas still blockedtoday it seems,,, its working now... so perhaps the aug6 complaints are not related to the late july patchbug

I've been having the same issue except it happens at the start screen after the game finishes loading assets. I'm on a Mac so not sure if that's the problem.

I'm also seeing this problem. It seems to have started in the last week. I'm seeing it often, but not always.
Luckily the rewards for the win still happen.

After a match, the game gets stuck on the "Waiting for the Server..." screen. Have to close the game from windows and restart to get back to main page.

Same here. My internet connection is fine. Tried two different computers (one wired and one WiFi). Happens on both. Very frustrating. I constantly have to restart the MTGA client.

Game crashed after a game. Then got stuck on waiting for the server. Restarted the game, got endless waiting for the server again. Same thing everytime i try to start the game since.
