Pillar of flame did not exile creature
Cast Pillar of flame on a creature that died, but it was not exiled as it died.

Just happened to me. Used Pillar of Flame on a Scrap Trawler to avoid its "dies" trigger, but it went to gy instead of exile and triggered.

I have cast Pillar of Flame like 20-30 times over the last couple days. I have never seen it exile a creature once.

Just happened to my opponent, they tried to kill Heliod by using Pillar Of Flame, he is Indestructible, but exiling him would solve the problem. My Heliod just stood there with 0 resistance and my opponent conceded.

This is still an issue almost a year later! This is unacceptable for cards to not work as their text intends. Especially with all the tournaments/events on Arena and the fact that this is a constructed playable card.

Just cast Pillar of Flame on one Arclight Phoenix and then again on a second with Dreadhorde Arcanist. Neither went to exile, both went to the graveyard. Cost me the game and a rank. Why is this still a bug?

Same here, pillar of flames did not exile neither a cauldron familiar or a woe strider

Since August last year Pillar of Flame does not exile. Good job.
As a software developer I cant imagine if I would keep a bug on production for 8 months.

In a recent game I cast Pillar of Flame on two different cards, neither went to exile, but went to the graveyard instead

In a game of Arena Cube Draft, I killed my opponent's Phoenix of Ash with a Pillar of flame which should have exiled it. Instead, their Phoenix appeared in the graveyard and they were able to play it again, but the wording on Pillar of Flame (if a creature dealt damage this way WOULD die this turn, exile it instead) meant it should have been exiled and thus not able to be played by escape.

I was playing a quick game, and I used Pillar of Flame on a Garrison Cat. The cat was not exiled as part of the spell's effect, causing the token to still be produced and the cat to be placed on the cemetery instead of in exile.

It should be close to the end of the file. I cast pillar of flame on knight of the ebon hand and it went to the graveyard instead of getting exiled. They later put that card back on top of their library with a witch's cottage.

Sticher's Supplier that be killed by pillar of Flame will not be exiled .

This just happened to me again when killing a paradise druid. No soul scar in play. Additionally, the opponent also gained life off his bastion for the creature "dying".

on the second thought, probably because we have Soul-Scar Mage on the battlefield. It replaces the damage to -1/-1 counter(s) instead.

Would like to third this idea as I see all to often, especially when I want to exile a stitcher's supplier. Sometimes it exiles and sometimes it doesn't. I've lost a game or two due to this bug playing against claim to fame decks

Happened to me as well. I realize it twice when I use it to target Woe Strider and Earthshaker Khenra. I'm not sure, but I think it only happens when we target creatures with graveyard ability such as Eternalize and Escape. I tested on a non-graveyard ability creature and it goes to exile.
