Please do away with shuffler algorithms; just randomize it. I feel I need to build a deck to suit the algorithms which I don't want to.' The algo is completely obvious and often ridiculous. I think it would be great for MTG to just randomize it, because the shuffler seems to work best with copy paste unoriginal decks. So fix it. Now. Random is cheaper to for you guys. Fire some people, whatever.
If you play against a control deck, you will draw a lot of lands. This mono black deck has 18 lands!!!!!!
This is not a game, this is a kind of robbery software, take care!
More manipulation, more **** of MTGA
the game is rigged. I´ll play free account while this shit continuos. I got 65 mil of gold for Kaldheim ;D
Enough is enough! FIX YOUR **** SHUFFLER NOW!
Drawing 7/9 lands two games in a row after drawing 1/9 lands is not random, it is a broken randomization system.
Not only will I never spend money on any Magic product, I will never spend money on any Wizards of the Coast product, any Hasbro product, and I will actively work to form a genuine boycott of Hasbro for your BLATANT corruption you greedy mofos.
It would be nice if the criminal organization known as Wizards of the Coast would stop engaging in the subversive activity of manipulating wins and losses via the amount of mana (land) drawn in a game. It is beyond absurd at this point that the greatest factor in whether or not you draw too much or too little land is what your current win/loss ratio is sitting at.
Get better you criminal coders.
Is this a poker game again?
7 mulligans in a row before I got a reasonable draw of 3 mana in a deck that's over 30% mana. 4 in a row of a single land, then 2 of two. How can you look at yourselves in the mirror w/ programming this bad?
Another game of 8 turns w/o drawing a land. Hand full of 3 drops I can't play because the initial low draw never saw another land. You really need to do something about fixing this HUGE flaw in the game instead of just shining on all the complaints about how bad it is...
This game is actually ridiculous no, does anyone make their own decks any more?????? Would help if the "shuffler" doesn't give me 3 copies of the most expensive card in my deck on turn 2, 3 and 4. And I love the "engagement" (lack off) from wizards in responding to the concerns of the community. You lot turning into Blizzard and Activision, then again, at least they act when the community isn't happy
why can you lot not sort the supposed deck shuffler, that shuffles sweet FA??? This game used to be fun to play but is actually horrible
So going 7/9 in win/loss probably had nothing to do with me drawing 7/9 lands in my next match. Anecdotal evidence, which happens EVERY single time you go on too much of a tear because you have figured out how to make decks to hack the rigged algorithm.
There are ways to try and hack the system, but in the end it will come for you with mana flooding if mana droughts do not work. I will be making a lot of videos this weekend exposing how to circumvent the fraud in this game, and you can find the videos on the video playing service that is owned by our overlord G o to the Alpha betics.
The shuffler algorithm in drafts is insulting to average intelligence, an affront to MTG, and truly bordering on ruing the MTGA expeience
There's a SHUFFLER ALGORITHM fraudulence happening here. i would bet my house on it and all the money in my bank account without hesitation.. Kinda like the election. wotc, you guys really put a bad taste in my mouth.
It has been an entire week of historic BRAWL where I enjoyed my favorite commanders over and over every day for several hours of gameplay. Because it is a singleton format and there is a free mulligan, the usual clump of cards observed in matches in other formats rarely appear in historic BRAWL, even when playing a 5 color commander. It was a fresh break from the historic PLAY queue.
Then, of course, I come back to play my historic decks in the PLAY queue since it was a temporary event. This time I was already prepared and without surprise I return to observe the clump of cards in several draws. The most outstanding match was the one pictured below. A dinosaur tribal deck with many 2 copies of a card and 24 lands. Look at the starting hand and the turn where I draw my 12th card. It cannot be more obvious the clump of cards generated by the shuffling algorithm. The lack of lands implies the other 21 lands are mostly clump either at the middle or at the bottom of the deck. Moreover there is 2 creatures in the deck which generate mana of any colour, but they were also nowhere to be seen.
I would like to anyone reading this comment to try themselves the BRAWL queue and the PLAY queue. It become obvious to anyone that no strategy can be abused in BRAWL if it relies on draw many copies as possible of a specific card. The contrary is also true: any strategy based on draw few lands or just 1 copy of a card are not affected by the draws. Most of the time this strategy can work and hold the battlefield against the opponent, as I did several times playing a 5 color commander. There was several games which I could wait to draw more lands to develop a powerful defense and offense against the opponent. That was only possible because there was no way to the opponent would benefit from draw 4 copies of any powerful card to disrupt my board. There was no 4 copies of Wrath of God or Extinct Event being cast, neither 4 copies of Uro, Nissa or Ugin.
Wizards is not listening to their user base. The only way we get these egregious issues dealt with is through a social media shaming campaign combined with a class action lawsuit for criminal behavior.
They are running an e-sport competitive game that they are rigging wins and losses, and that is illegal under the laws of the country they operate from, United States, and the state that they are incorporated.
Make #boycottHasbro trend on social media and if you know a lawyer who specializes in class action lawsuits, let them know that they have an easy slam dunk out of court settlement if they bring a suit against Hasbro for the illegal activities by WotC.
Expect this comment to be deleted, they have deleted over 20 of my comments in the past month calling attention to their illegal activities, which only confirms their culpability in this ponzi scheme attempting to be a legitimate video game.
Every single update to the game the shuffler gets worse and worse. After the 1/7/21 update things have gotten only worse. Draw nothing but lands or no lands, people getting 3/4 duplicates of multiple cards in the first 15 cards, etc.
Your product is broken and you keep breaking it more.
Combine this with the RIGGED matchmaking system that seems to attempt to give you a loss by scanning your deck ahead of the match and placing you against the most difficult to beat deck available and you have a manipulate POS game.
Today I present the manipulation of the day by MGTA.
The game is rigged. Wizard are robbery your money, the game is not random
Repeating Nosbor's comment. I will keep repeating this until we get an official answer and a solution from Hasbro/Wizards:

I spent money on this game with the understanding I was playing the digital equivalent of paper magic. Fixing matches to keep people playing is fine... if you are explicitly honest about it.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is intentional. Wizards/Hasbro have WAY too much money and market research available to not have a functional randomizer. They also have a another online game with an algorithm that does not have these same problems.
Telling me there is something called 'hand smoothing' does not count as disclosing the truth under the hood. There is enough empirical evidence in posts here and elsewhere that show this is and has been a massive problem. Please come forward and say 'after much community outcry, we have decided to rework our shuffling algorithm', you don't even have to admit wrongdoing. Just own it and fix it.
When not fixing it makes you money, it shows intent.
I'm disappointed in myself for spending money on this game. I will not be purchasing another Hasbro product until they acknowledge there is a problem and a present a solution, or prove there isn't one.
pre-determind, no true RNG, very Toxic.
This is ridiculous. I kept a 5 land 2 creature hand. One 2 CMC creature and one 3 CMC, assuming that with 5 lands in hand out of the 16 in my draft deck, I was more likely to hit spells than lands. I proceeded to draw nothing but lands for the next 7 turns
