Solemnity + Nine Lives
My opponent played Solemnity + Nine Lives enchantment combo and literally with these two cards became immune to all damage, as Nine Lives were not accumulating any of the 9 counters 'required for its' exile' (only card able to damage the player was Vito Thorn of the Dusk Rose effect). All other attempts to inflict any type of damage or attempts to remove these enchantments were countered with cheap 2 mana counter spells (...emphasis on 2 cost ahem Dovin's veto). Basically, with a couple of rare wildcards one becomes pretty much unbeatable deck. Please fix. Thank you!
There are a few copies of a deck that combos solemnity and nine lives making the rounds in historic. It is so easy for that deck to just grind the game to halt by turn 3 or 4. Since both of the cards are enchantments, there are a lot of decks that have no answers to it. It leads to a lot of degenerate and unfun games. When I see it, if I can't beat it before it lands those two cards, I'm either forced to concede or wait until my opponent finds the single copy of Approach of the Second Sun in their deck...twice
