MTG Arena Linux Client
Hello,
I wanted to request / show interest in a Linux client for the game.
The game can run through Wine in Linux though many workarounds, but it would be preferable if the game had an official Linux client (which theoretically shouldn't be too hard, given that it's a Unity game).

As much as I'd love this, as others have mentioned, it runs really will through Lutris. Not only that, but you get a native experience through GeForce Now running through Chrome. OK, unless you have a paid account you have to go back in each hour but sometimes having your play time limited isn't a bad thing. ;)

There is no need for a native client, since Lutris handles the game quite well.

I would love to see a Linux desktop client - I play now, like most folks here, through Lutris but it's great to have a native app and not have to tinker with things out of the box.
Could net WotC a whole new audience with Steam Deck around the corner...

Seconded. I could finally ditch my Windows partition, and would definitely play more.

Yes please. Linux is gaining ever increasing popularity especially with windows 11 around the corner and proper support would be much appreciated.

I'm using Lutris and now it works very well and I don't have to reinstall every update but it was very painful at times having to wait for the msi. The day they release an official Linux client, I'll spend money on Arena. For now I'll stick to f2p only. Also, as OP said, being built in Unity, the port should be very easy to do.
