MTGA is trash, WoTC is greedy
For all the money WoTC makes every year you would think they'd offer a better quality service than this MTGA bullsshhiitt. Just about every aspect of the software is awful. I've also noticed that the bullshiitt "unity crash handler" they run along with the main software causes more hangups and crashes than it helps, it also eats up an unbelievable amount of memory for all it functions as. You can run the game without unity crash handler with absolutely no problems at all. Also, with the advent of this game on mobile devices I see a lot of lawsuits on the horizon for damaged devices, I am certain unless you have an OP phone or tablet this game will cause the average device harm.

They 're greedy indeed, I see this in my match results. I have never bought anything that costs real money in this game and, coincidentially, I pretty much always lose to players who obviously have bought something. It isn't just this, the way I lose those matches is always the same: whatever card I play, my opponent has immediately exactly the right card to cancel it. When this happens with like ten cards in a row, it cannot be a coincidence. Also, just now I was playing a draft event, where the game forced me into a completely dysfunctional five-colour deck. This, paired with those pay-to-win opponents, ruined the event for me. One has to wonder why WOTC won't let each player choose what colour(s) they want to draft from, so that each player can have an at least somewhat functional deck, which would be a good step toward fairer draft events. But again, the bigger problem is the deliberate imparity between players who buy cosmetics or whatever with real money and players who don't. This probably explains why I sometimes have to wait for more than a minute before finding an online opponent: this game is probably losing players. These long waits were not a thing during my first month or so in the game. Can't be a coincidence.

I wish you could trade, buy, and sell singles. Like investing on your phone. Very disappointing. I think wizards would attract more people if they added a store for singles. I get tired of having to play junk decks while never having an opportunity to buy from previous sets.
