Halvar Rework
Please ask if we intend to use Halvars start of combat ability before forcing us to pick targets. It feels terrible to be forced to choose an equip, and a creature, every Combat step.

Yes this is brutally annoying and makes me not want to use the card. One should just be able to say they don't want to use the ability rather than have to select an aura or equipment and a creature first before saying one does not want to use the ability.

August 2021 and still not fixed. I play on iOS. I agree with the suggestion above.
If Halvar is the only creature on the board, his ability triggers anyway, even though he has no other creature to give equipment to.
If there is another creature, but you don’t want to switch equipment, the UI forces you to select the other creature anyway, and then cancel it. Terrible UI.
Brueunor Battlehammer’s ability is elegant in comparison, and similar.

Were you forced to activate the ability? Playing on mobile when I play Halvar it forces me to use the ability and will not allow me to select 0 targets - it either times out and passes my turn or I have to select a creature which I don't want to transfer the equipment/aura to.
