Black Screen After Today's Update
I did today's update this morning and now I cannot play the game. I tried booting it up 5 different times and it just keeps giving me a black screen with the music and the cursor, but that is it. Can you please tell me how to fix it?

A friend of mine still have the same problem (I don't know if today's fix was about this problem or not) from wednesday 25th (after the update).
Rebooting, multibooting or uninstalling/reinstalling the game have done nothing.
He/we tried on PC and Android. He's stuck on initial scene loading, or just after connexion to server.
Definitely account related IMHO.Kenshin#90309 seems to have identified the source.
We'd be glad if you manage to find a way to fix it :)

On pc, with two different account:
The first account has normal first scene. (see player1.log)
Log with second account and i have black screen with sound.(see player2.log)changing the time zone to UTC work but it is a poor workaround.

Found the issue in the log, when the timezone is not UTC. That's definitely related to the QuestBar initialization:
[809] ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The UTC time represented when the offset is applied must be between year 0 and 10,000.

I have the issue and I did not complete the 2 colors quest before the update.
Like others have already stated, that seems to be the cause of the issue.
Please fix it. -

I have the same problem. My workaround is to change the time to GMT/UTC. But now I have the error where the reset timer for the color deck challenge is permanently at zero. Is there a workaround for this?

This is happening to me on iOS. When I change time zones to UTC the black screen goes away but the colour change free deck thing never refreshes, which is especially frustrating because I’ve just started playing the game. Not being able to unlock and try those free new decks really makes playing the game not worth it for me

A poster on reddit adviced me to set my PC time to UTC global. I am in UTC+2.
I sounds dumb (and I didn't believe it) but it worked for me.

changing windows timezone to UTC fixed it. this is not an acceptable workaround though. same issue (black screen) on ipad. please fix asap..

Same here on PC, i've tried use other accounts on my PC and it works fine. I also tried to log with my first account (the one which is struggling with black screen) on different PCs but had same issue. I think that the problem is linked to my account.

Can confirm too, my account who was doing the 2 color deck quest have the issue and when changing time zone to workaround the issue the quest timer is stuck at 00:00:00.
When using a brand new account can play without any issue at all. -

I confirm that I also have the issue, and I was in the middle of a 2 colors quest... Switching to UTC allows me to play, but the quest is completely stuck...

I created a new account this morning and I was able to load the game just fine without a black screen. Like other users have stated, the bug seems to be tied to new accounts where players haven't completed the dual colour deck quests before the update.
There you go Wizards, we have identified the bug for you. Instead of condescending posts from your staff, maybe fix it?
