I have same issue after today's update.

After downloading assets, it turns black screen, cursor, and bgm is playing.

I have re-install the app but it won't change.

This issue occurs both PC and iOS.

Same issue here... cannot play

To add to this:
- I have updated my VS
- I have tried making a fresh install
- I have tried to reconect after the black screen appears, by making multiple instances
- Clicking around to see if that fixes it

I installed MTGA last weekend. Played yesterday before update/maintenance. After update I get a black screen after authentication. I have completed the mastery quests and I am getting quests for duel decks.

Nothing to attach, since it is just a black screen with cursor.

I am still getting a black screen after today’s update, it tries to contact the server but nothing happens

When I use my main account, it does not go well. But, there are no problem when I use other account.

i have attached a screenshot of my computer's specs with MTGA's system requirements posted on Wizard's site. It seems this is not the issue, as I have been playing arena on this computer.

Upon reading through other forums, i've uninstalled, reinstalled Epic games, MTGA, restarted my computer 4 times, tried 2 different internet services and
cached my dns and still nothing. please help

I am facing the exact same issue. After hitting reconnect, NOTHING happens. I am playing MTGArena on both Android and PC. When I reinstall and log into my account, i get the same prompt to reconnect, and when I do reconnect, exactly nothing happens. Please help!

A workaround for Windows 10 that worked for me: uninstall and install again mtg arena.

This exact issue happened to me after today's update as well. Nice regression testing in place I guess.

Same things here, running on Windows 10 (64 bits). After a reboot sometime I'm able to lunch the game 1 time but not everytime and ig I close the program impossible to lunch it again always getting this black screen and only got the cursor atr the screen.

Same Problem After one succesfull match i get a blackscreen and then there is a fixed blackscreen. After that the Programmwont open

I am having this problem too. An interim fix seems to be to unplug my monitors HDMI cable and plug back in. This works for me either at the monitor or back of computer. Obv it needs a patch but this fix may help people out until then.

Delete, cleaning and reinstall don't fix the issue, same on my Android phone.

Open mtg arena and show waiting for the server and no start

Mine shows 'Waiting for the Server...' but otherwise, same exact issue. I tried both on my Ipad and on my Windows PC.
