Cast magma opus targeting to tap ashiok and the game crashed // no connection issues

I am on an iPhone and was in a historic event. I was trying to target two Sprite Dragons and divide two damage to each. On the interface, I couldn’t get the damage set to two on the back creature. I had to do 3 and 1. Very frustrating.

Same thing happened to me and I lost the game due to timeout --- I also want my gems back because I would've won that game!!!

I lost a game that I could have won, hoping to get a refund

Magma Opus sometimes freezes the game/fails to resolve when it targets a permanent with damage and with the tapping ability if the damage ability would kill the permanent.

As for your template, here:

1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug
Tested splitting damage between Lurrus and opponent, and tapping Lurrus and a land. Arena failed to resolve Magma Opus and forced me to restart.

Tried to replicate the bug against Sparky, splitting damage between Sparky (1) and an untapped Hurloon Minotaur (3) while tapping the Minotaur and a land. Didn't freeze the game. I attach two logs, one generated immediately after restarting, one after failing to replicate the bug against Sparky.

No screenshot but Opus just fails to resolve and I rope but don't lose on my end.

No workaround. Tried to replicate against Sparky, didn't happen.

Also had the same issue. The game froze, I restarted it several times and it was like on the screenshot. After a while, when I checked my draft record, the game seemed to have been considered as a draw.

have screenshot of board state but basically opponent cast magma opus and game has not continued or ended the match even after the timer ran out on my opponents side. I am still able to highlight cards and interact with pets

STEPS:
1. Launch MTGArena
2. Once the game has loaded, select a game mode.
3. Select a deck containing Magma Opus.
4. Play the game until you are able to play Magma Opus.
5. Distribute the damage for Magma Opus.
6. Observe the game state.

PLATFORM: Windows

RESULTS:
The game hangs indefinitely.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
I expected the spell to resolve.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
- I have observed this both when casting the spell a single time and when copying it.
- This does not always happen, I have observed it twice in 4 casts. The timer ticks down as if you are not finishing the spell but your turn does not end.
- There is no way to concede or otherwise leave the match and the game must be force closed.

Just had this same thing happen, exactly when distributing damage too.

It seems Magma Opus has been bugged since day one - first time happening to me though - since I just built a deck with it . The game froze as the spell tried to resolve.

Faced a similar problem.

After my opponent played Magma Opus and assigned targets, the game did not give permission buttons, and stopped responding to keyboard buttons and mouse clicks. I had to close the game through the Windows task manager and was credited as losing the match.

I had the same problem, targeting a permanent with both abilities from the card causing the target for the damage not being a valid target for the tap ability makes the client freeze

1. Cast the Magma Opus.
2. Select the target to deal damage. (1 damage to creature and 3 damage to opponent.)
3. Select the target to tap. (creature and land)
4. The Magma Opus is not resolved, and the consideration time meter also stopped on the left.
5. When I restarted ARENA, I lost.

I demand a sealed victory reward.

The log is after restarting ARENA, so it may not be left.
But if you look at the picture, you can see that it is bug (the meter of the consideration time was stopped).
