Deadly Brew combined with Claim the Firstborn/Akroan War/... does not trigger second half of the effect
- Give us the steps to reproduce the bug:
Make sure there is a permanent in the graveyard. Cast "Claim the firstborn" on opponent's creature. Cast "Deadly Brew". Sacrifice the claimed creature.
- Note which platform you’re using (PC, Mac, Android, or iOS)
PC
- Enter the actual results you’re experiencing
You then do not get the option to bring a permanent back from the graveyard to your hand.
- Enter the expected results of the feature
As I sacrificed a creature to "Deadly Brew" I should be allowed to bring a permanent from the graveyard to my hand. I double checked that a permanent was indeed available in the graveyard (in this case: a Woe Strider).
"Deadly Brew" works as intended when sacrificing you own yourself (either card or token).
- If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

I found the same problem and recorded a full game showing this.
Note: I used Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor, but have had various similar ways. The point is that it happens when you don't own it, but do control it. The return effect doesn't seem to trigger.Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FhElH0oLAo

I also saw this behavior and replicated it in a bot match (log attached). Deadly Brew works fine when sacrificing a permanent you own, but fails to allow you to bring back a permanent from your GY any time you sacrifice a permanent your opponent owns.
