Unable to log in: Attach failed to drop other attach
I am unable to log in on both desktop and mobile. Whenever I try, I get "Unable to log in: Authentication failed for Let'sGetKraken: Attach failed to drop other attach". This has persisted for about 20 minutes now.
Happened to my main account after the latest update. Tech support closed the case. 3 days after the update I still can't log into my main account.

After the last update i started having this problem,
I’m having the same issue. It let me log in at first but all my dailies were missing. When I tried to restart, I started getting this error message. It’s happening on desktop and mobile.
Just got this error message. I restarted the game because of a different issue and then got this message..
These are the messages im getting. They change sometimes after hitting the reconnect button.
Having the same issue. Game suddenly crashed and now i cant get back in.
So this mornings update hosed my mtga with this attach nonsense... please fix
This issue was finally resolved for me after the weekly Thursday update. I assume it reset the bad state somehow.
I got this as well. I cannot log in it says attach failed to attach. I was playing just last night no issues. This maintenance screwed everything, and this was my first day playing
@Longshot I can't help but think that if one of us was a well-known Arena streamer, the problem would get resolved with haste.
Imagine a company not having a solution to paying customers being completely unable to access the items that they have paid for. This needs to become news somewhere. I have not heard a single thing from support today despite multiple emails.
Same problem happened to me. Can't log into my specific account, but other accounts are fine. It's definitely not the client. I was playing on Tuesday, Oct 26th when it happened.
I have had the exact same thing happen to me (to a T) the EXACT same thing...
I got disconntected while doing draft picks on the 26th of october with the following error message:
Unable to Login Authentication failed for user name: Attach failed
Since of today's patch my error message changed to:
Unable to Login Authentication failed for user name: Attach failed to drop other attach
Secondary account works fine.
Support is unable to help and I can't acess my account into wich I put a lot of time and money.

Somehow my login issues are resolved and I am able to login to my account again.
Im having this same issue and tech support says that do not have a solution! Im supposed to play in the mythic qualifier this weekend and I cant access my account!!
I have been getting "Attach Failed" for 2 days now, totally unable to log in. Have tried all the nonsense steps support has asked of me, including:
1. Rebooting computer
2. Rebooting modem/router
3. DNS flush/winsock reboot
4. Disabling firewall and antivirus
5. Resetting my password
6. Trying on a different computer and network
7. Full Uninstall and Re-Install of program
NONE OF THIS WORKS! It is not a network problem on my end, no matter how much your support team wants to believe it is.
I have a put a lot of money and a whole lot of time into building my MTGA collection, my account has hundreds of wildcards and thousands of gems and gold, and I can't access any of it! I also can't get any competent help to figure it out or anything other than a stock email with a list of "troubleshooting" steps that are guaranteed not to work. This is totally unacceptable "customer support"; even the airlines do better than this, you can at least talk to a human if you wait 3 hours!
I have been finding the same problem for the past couple days too (both on my PC and my Android). I tried reinstalling Arena on both, but the error is still popping up. I saw in this comment section that an admin suggested looking at the Technical Troubleshooting articles, but I personally couldn't find a response to this issue (at least not one that worked). I imagine this issue is probably related to the recent update, but I'm going to be disappointed if some of the rewards that other users and I cannot achieve rewards and participate in time-sensitive events due to login errors outside of a user's control.
Same problem for the last 2 days. Still in contact with support but they suggested I should report the issue here aswell.
sad we spend money on this game and cant even log on wtf?
