Mac client won't run unless started from Epic Game launcher
Ever since the last update, when I attempt to run the Arena app directly, it starts up as a black screen and shows the Arena cursor, but then never loads the game. The only way I can launch the game is by running Epic Games and then launching from there and the game will start and run normally. This DOES NOT occur on my other Intel based MacBook Pro, where everything is running fine.
I've attached screenshots and my log file.

I want to play MTG Arena on mac, but I refuse to install Epic Games Launcher bloatware on my mac, please Wizards provide a standalone client without EGS.
Also stay true to your past tweet https://twitter.com/mtg_arena/status/1163546648791748609?lang=en

This is a big problem, happening now to me as well on Mac Monterey. Any possible solution? EpicLauncher is USESELESS, SLOW.
Why is even Arena needing that instead of being standalone? And how can we launch it without the Epic?

I second this, I can't open the app directly which is a real shame since the Epic Games Launcher is terrible, slow, and useless as a middle-man. It adds an extra minute for me to open MTGA

It used to be possible and was way more convenient.
It seems that now MTGA is using a bunch of arguments, this is how it is launched on my M1 MacBook : /Users/Shared/Epic Games/MagicTheGathering/MTGA.app/Contents/MacOS/MTGA -AUTH_LOGIN=unused -AUTH_PASSWORD=a3988d13efc547a56b816c19a98b828 -AUTH_TYPE=exchangecode -epicapp=stargazer -epicenv=Prod -EpicPortal -epicusername=greg3z -epicuserid=3037e310cc644748c71e311f5e57f55 -epiclocale=en -epicsandboxid=5fdcc0dc6724af3be740f362bd976fd
But when I try to launch it with the very same arguments, it stays on a black screen as if I launched it without EGL.
How can I launch Arena without the useless Epic Games Launcher?
