Infrequent bug: click and drag to select causes card to disappear from potential picks
There is a long-standing bug that causes cards that have been clicked and dragged, but not yet selected to disappear from the card pool for the current drafter EVEN THOUGH NOT YET TAKEN. I have had this happen to me twice in the last week, and have seen it happen to streamers within the last two weeks. There are also longstanding bug listings that describe this same (or similar) problem. Please fix!
- Give us the steps to reproduce the bug
Click and drag cards in each pick, but don't select them. I do this habitually because I found it the most reliable way to select a card for the system to auto-select if I haven't decided yet, but don't want a system-generated choice to prevent my getting a card I'm considering. This bug appears to be a once-in-50 or something like that, but eventually you will find the card that you clicked and dragged for selection disappears and you cannot add it to your pool. It is as if the card was never in the pack (though I suspect it appears for the next player as a pick). This time through for me it was a Sigarda's Imprisonment, which is a HUGE miss for my deck.
- Note which platform you’re using (PC, Mac, Android, or iOS)
PC running Windows 10
- Enter the actual results you’re experiencing
Occasional disappearance of cards selected but not confirmed - then the card is not seen in the pool (there is a blank space where that card had been) and the card cannot be selected for use in the player's selected card pool
- Enter the expected results of the feature
The card SHOULD be highlighted as the selection if I the player doesn't Confirm Pick before time runs out
- Add any relevant screenshots/videos
Forgot to capture a screenshot (it is in the middle of a draft after all...)
- If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.
Not sure, but it may be that not dragging the card during selection will prevent this from happening, but not dragging leads to the card sometimes being added to the pool (maybe I accidently double click?). Ask Ryan Spain about this: I learned the click-and-drag from watching him, as he also had the problem of cards being confirmed when he only intended to select as an option
