Pay To Win Is Obvious
It's been quite obvious over the past few days that pay to win is a thing. There is clearly a weight towards players who spend money on skins over those who don't, and the kicker to this is that it's exploitable with the new hand-smoothing algorithm. Players can spend exorbitant amounts of money on packs, load their decks with 200+ cards and pull perfect hands in the first 3 rounds nearly every game. These players are very easily distinguishable due to the vast amount of card styles they have in their decks as well. Conversely, whenever I run into a player with a regular sized deck (60-80 card) and maybe 1 or 2 different card styles, the games tend to be significantly more even matched and likely to actually survive into later rounds where the game actually begins to open up.
Something needs to be done to fix this, if the idea of hand-smoothing was to help newer players get into the game by drawing better cards early on, then leave this as a feature for players ranked Gold or under. Platinum+ players shouldn't be given massive advantages due to an inherent flaw in the algorithm that allows them to exploit massive decks to pull essentially every God card in the game.
Rant over.
