Hey, ich hatte kürzlich ein ähnliches frustrierendes Problem und suchte nach einer Möglichkeit, mich etwas abzulenken. Dabei bin ich auf https://play-jonny.com.de gestoßen, wo es für Spieler aus Deutschland spezielle Boni gibt. Anfangs lief es nicht besonders gut, ein paar kleine Rückschläge, doch dann hatte ich richtig Glück und konnte einen schönen Gewinn erzielen. Das hat mir geholfen, den Frust etwas zu vergessen und nebenbei Spaß zu haben.

I started getting the "asset error detected" message today. Not associated with any sort of update, just random. It is not responding to rebooting or uninstall/reinstall. The tip posted on August 11 seems lovely, but I have no idea how to do any of that. Running on an older Mac laptop.

Maybe this will help someone. I installed the launcher for MTGA that wasnt through steam or epic. Then i reran the game through steam and it started redownload in the ingame screen and works now. idk if this will fix fix it but its working again for after a week of trying everything over and over.

To add contest i am using the steam client version: 1753403107 and Windows 10 Pro (22H2) Build: 19045.6159.
The game is installed under the steam directory.
I already tryed "repair game file" from steam, cleaning windows temp file and user/AppData MTGA folder.

Moreover i'm running in the same error in the Android version of the client (running on Andorid 16 Build: BP2A.250705.008)

I have been unable to play since the update. Every time I open Arena no matter how many times I reinstall I get "Asset Error Detected" it's an endless loop. No solution.

When it detects an asset error why not delete the erroneous assets and redownload them? You literally detected the error. Time to fix it.

After updating yesterday I have the same problem. I've checked the language format and have removed and installed the game twice with no solution.

After the latest update, I can't get in. I get "asset error detected" message. I tried rebooting, uninstalling/installing (both Epic and MTGA), and tried connecting to a different wi-fi. Always the same error immediately upon entering. I'm on a macbook air

If you are in Norway, try setting regional format to English. I recommend "English (Sweden)" as it will mess up your formats the least.

I too am getting this message upon launching the game. It happened yesterday May 6th, thought I'd reset my PC and try the nest day. Today May 7th same error. Flushed DNS still happening.
I'm on PC, in Canada with a ether connection. English language. ???

I can't access the game either, but I'm on english. Maybe I'll try switching to Norweigian.

Same problem here, and I dont have other language packs so cant switch to english ...

I set the language to american english, and that fixed the problem, which is ******* stupid, but hey, it worked

It seems to be related to local language, and I cannot start the game with my language options. Even if it worked just fine in the previous patch. It works if I change to US/Eng local settings and language.
