Just wanted to add that seedism's recommendation worked perfectly. Go to "Options" then to "report a bug"then to "validate bundles".

The validate bundles tip fixed it when a thousand reinstalls wouldn't on my Mac. Thanks Seedism#06202!

I fixed this by going to "adjust options" then to "report a bug"then to "validate bundles".

This made me restart, download an update...and voila it worked agan on my Windows pc.

I rebooted the game and the problem is still there, both When playing against someone and whe going to edit decks

my profile name and my opponents profile name doesnt show up and i am playing on a computer. Abilities like flying, vigilance, etc. doesn't show up on my stuff, making it to where I know it has those abilities by hovering over the card and the pop up explaining the abilities it has appears.

My Device: MacBook Pro M1 Max
My System Ver: Ventura 13.2.1

step1. uninstall MTGA from Epic Launcher
step2. delete the game data MTGA downloaded (-_-)：rm -rf /Users/${USER}/Library/Application Support/com.wizards.mtga
step3. reinstall MTGA
step4. enjoy mtg

the names of cards, the card type, subtypes, power and toughness are not showing up on cards during gameplay or during the draft.

I have this same issue on a MacBook Air. Please help. I have deleted MTGA and reinstalled 3 times. Still no No Card name, P/T, or life total displaying.

MTGA on my M1 MacBook Pro just updated with the Brothers' War, and now i can't see my or my opponent's life total, Power/Toughness or card name on any card, either while playing, or deck editing/building. The game's not completely "unplayable," as in matches still load up and cards are dealt, but it's impossible to form any strategy because there's no way of knowing what I'm attacking, defending against, or how much life there is to spare. I've uninstalled MTGA through the Epic Games Launcher twice, and restarted the computer between reinstallation, but it doesn't solve the problem. There weren't any issues during the update, so I'm not sure what could've caused this. Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstall via windows. Go to drive and delete all short cuts….reinstall. Restart comp…worked for me. Issue resolved. Not even surprised WOTC hasnt responded with even a hint of support on this thread.

Same issue. This is on a Mac. My theory is that it happened because I forced the update to quit while it seemed to be hung on doing something with 'Localization'.

Also happening to me. This is very frustrating. I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game and now I cannot play it on my brand new computer.

I am having the same problem on Mac. I've tried reinstalling both Epic games and MTGA.

This one has popped up after the renewal. How do I fix this?

We have the same problems and its totally unplayable. Even when I delete the game AND the epic installer and then reinstall, the porblem persists. And the games is only 550MB so I know somethings not right but it isnt doing the updates.

Same here. This bug is not only visual bug but also critical for game play. I must memorize all card name, PT etc. I must discriminate all cards just only text and pictures.

Please fix it as soon as possible!!

No life total, card names, etc. What can I do??

Still not working after rebooting. No Card Name, Power/Toughness, or Life totals. Kind of makes it hard to play the game if you dont know the life totals.
