Playing on Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. There is no sound whatsoever, from start up to Playing a game. Sound works fine outside the app, so it's not a hardware problem. It's the app.

The app also keeps crashing. It takes several attempts to get past the "waiting for servers" screen. In an actual game, it will lag/freeze for several seconds on every turn and eventually it crashes. I'm lucky to get a full game.

A couple of days ago i started the game using steam launcher, and like the usual im greeted with the music playing, but i noticed there's no FX or music at all, although i have no trouble with the voice and sound drivers and the settings of sound in the game are all 100% even master, what could be the problem because i don't even have a program in the background that's taking the place of the sound, thank you!

Downloaded patch a few months ago, noticed that there is no more audio in the game(music, sound effects, etc). Restarted program and comp did not resolve issue. Figured that a later patch would fix this but has not.

It's pretty clear nobody on the arena team even playtests the game anymore. They don't care about you.

this happens to me on pc. notably only when a bunch of triggers happen at once, after that the "sound engine" is basicly crashed and the game needs a restart to have any sound effects in game.

same issue on my macbook pro. Bug mostly happens during gameplay when a person cast a spell

Surely if you delete ever bit of code that deals with sound and rethink how sound is handled in the client, this will work out?

Again, I'm not being paid to solve your problems. Hire more devs to!

Same problem here. I play a Direct Challenge and atmosphere sound drops out.
Have to log out of MTGA and log back in, to re initiate sound in all parts of the app.
When I play another Direct Challenge, atmosphere sound stops again.

Posting for the first time. Seems that no attention is given to this bug, since its there now for almost 2 months. Its quite frustating to restart every other game.

Gonna post this again on here because this audio bug has been on Arena for a few weeks now. I've seen many posts about it but here is one more. After playing a few games the audio for certain things just go away entirely.

Like nearly 90% of players I´m talking to, I also have this annoying sound bug... A couple of months ago it only appeared after a session of maybe 2hrs. But after the Baldur´s Gate patch, It´s happening within the first match after a restart, maybe after the second match, max!

Since I´m streaming on twitch, it´s twice as annoying, being forced to restart the game every couple minutes.

My in game sounds go off and all I can hear is the arena music, its not as fun to cast a planeswalker or play the game when there are no sounds

Hello,
During a game I gradually lose the sounds when hitting and casting spells, the background music remains, the longer the game the less there are sounds, when I resume a new game the sounds are present again then gradually disappear again.
I only have this problem in MTG Arena, I don't have this problem in Snowrunner, Farming simulator 2019, Eurotrucks 2 or other games.

Same problem. Very frustrating. Very negatively affecting my desire to play the game.

Still no sound as of the update today on 07/28/2022, the sound effects cut off at random intervals whether it is a swish in the UI when deckbuilding or sounds during a match like voices and sound effects. Sometimes it is dead silent, sometimes it sounds like the music is echoed like when zoomed into a card when right clicking, sometimes two soundtracks overlap onto eachother, fix your game PLEASE
