Mentor's guidance working incorrectly
Mentor's Guidance checks for wizards on resolution instead of on cast like the card is worded.
When no wizard is on the board a copy is still being produced, which then fizzles. This is not what the wording on the card says.
When a wizard is in play and I go to cast it, my opponent can thus respond to the copy on the stack, kill my wizard and the copy then fizzles. Again, the card text specifically says that it checks for wizards in play ON CAST.
I am looking to play this card for the upcoming historic qualifier as are other people. I would appreciate this getting fixed until then.
Thank you!

I found this bug too. If the card was meant for the copying ability to fizzle when the condition to copy it ceases to exist between casting the spell and resolving it, it would be worded "If you control a planeswalker, Cleric, Druid, Shaman, Warlock or Wizard, copy this spell". With the current wording, there is a triggered ability that triggers when you cast the spell, and it shouldn't be countered by a removal spell.

Mentor's Guidance has a trigger on cast. If you don't control one of the creature types listed as the trigger resolves, the spell won't be copied.
