Keldon flamesage
My opponent attacked me with keldon flamesage while I had negate in hand with mana up, but the spells cast with flamesage’s ability would resolve without going on the stack so I could not respond. Shouldn’t it use the stack like any other spell being cast?

My opponent attacked with Keldon Flamesage, and I had mana available and negate in hand, but twice in a row was not given the opportunity to respond to the spell cast using Flamesage’s ability. It’s a free cast, but it should use the stack like any other spell.
