Pact of Negation not castable

Playing PC client, Historic Bo1. Game wouldn't let me cast Pact of Negation on my opponent's Negate.

    Because Charbelcher is your one spell you are allowed to cast after Irencrag Feat.

    You cast Irencrag Feat, which says you can only cast one more spell
