Trying to teach my 5 year old daughter how to play the game. Dragging on the touch screen is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL for young children to learn the interface as well as a necessary feature for all users. I logged in to Arena for the first time in about a year to have her play the tutorial and I'm astounded to see that this issue has existed this long. Very disappointed.

Just recently got a surface pro for work and was super excited to be able to play arena on it in bed or between clients with ease on a touch screen. I was severely disappointed when the inputs did nothing. Even WoW and StarCraft work with the touch screen inputs. This really needs to be fixed. Id be drafting so much more if i could use my tablet to play.

It has been over 8 months, and wizards hasn't solved this issue. Just printing $$

RoG Ally checking in. Concurring with the report below where touching the screen just moves the cursor, but not interacting. Weirdly, it sounds like the buttons are being clicked, but nothing happens.

RoG Ally here too. Touch only moves the cursor without clicking/dragging.

It's Version 2023.28.0.4634.1015823 and the problem with touchscreen not working on laptops still persists.
The game also runs on mobile phones which only has touch input for interaction....just saying...

Just came back to MTG Arena after being away for a while and am shocked that the touch screen now doesn't work (and it's been a known issue for so long). Please fix

Got a laptop that can serve as a touch screen, specifically bought it too play card games on a touch screen. I cant play arena using this feature and this is my preferred way to play.

I have a Lenovo X1 fold that works with a double tap but not single tap. No amount of taps work in the settings screen. I cannot progress past the landing screen because I can't tap play.

This is ridiculous. How long will this be broken?

This is a very annoying thing to still be broken. As a person that purchased a Surface for it's functionality as a touchscreen tablet, this makes it virtually useless for playing Arena.

Seems like a petty issue but I find it very important.
one of the benefits of a touch screen monitor is getting to play this style of game with that function.
It would be less of an issue for me if I hadn't been playing it that way since its release and there has not been a reason given ,as to why it stopped in the first place or that there is any consideration to resolving an issue that should be resolvable as the foundation already exists for the feature.
Personally it really hurts my enjoyment, as I still after 6 months attempt to use this functionality out of habit.

This issue is still there and you completely ignore players.
Why you think we will spend money on your game with such players ignoring?

Just bought a Surface Pro 9 and turns out I can't use it for playing Arena. After some investigation I discovered that it previously worked and it's a bug that hasn't been solved for a year. We players are a joke to you

Really frustrated by this as well. I had a ticket when this happened back in December and just bought a new surface pro for arena.

You can download a mobile emulator for touchscreen functionality but the mobile platform is significantly worse than the windows program. Please fix this issue!
