Mephidross $lime Bug
Day 4! New name, as I’ve confirmed that this is an issue with any card that features the death trigger: “the next time this creature dies, return it to the battlefield tapped”. Feign Death, Fake your own Death, Return to the Fray (I think is the name?) - cast any on Mephidross $lime and have it die that turn, and it’ll return to the battlefield without having its power and toughness doubled perpetually, despite that being core to its death trigger ability.
Happens on mobile or PC

Sixth post on the topic! And I have more updates.
We've discussed how, when you cast Feign Death, Fake Your Own Death, or Return to Action (I mistakenly referred to it as Return to the Fray) on Mephidross $lime and it then dies, there is a bug with how the death plays out.
You would expect the creature to die, for a new card named Mephidross $lime to be conjured in your graveyard, for both the new $lime and the dead one to have their power and toughness perpetually doubled, and for both to get shuffled into your library. THEN, you would expect the original $lime to return to the battlefield tapped WITH its power and toughness doubled, and any other effects to resolve.
This is not what happens. With all of these instants, the creature is returned to the battlefield with no change to its power or toughness. Additionally, Return to Action (maybe the other too?) sometimes doesn't even create a conjured duplicate in your library! Happened to me just last game on mobile (sorry I don't know how to record or submit logs).
I have experienced this without fail on both PC and iOS. There are no workarounds, it doesn't matter if the creature is sacrificed or killed in combat.
Please please please fix!
