Bug: Basic Waste
Wastes is a basic land card. On destroy search for a basic land card, this triggers wrongly but also inconsistently. I have no screenshots (I can probably get new ones). Boseju doesn't allow me to select a waste but cleansing wildfire does. I recall that field of ruin does not either (but I could be wrong on this). Somehow destroy land and opponent puts a new basic land into play isn't triggering properly for some destroy land cards.

This is still happening and it's actually just ruining games that require gems to play in. I'm in the middle of the brawl challenge and paid 1000 gems to enter, get prompted to grab a basic from someone's boseiju and wastes can't be selected. ridiculous that this is still a thing.

Boseiju has you search for a card with a basic land type, not a basic land. There is a difference

Opponent used Boseiju on my artifact and I prompted yes to search for a basic land yet it said wastes weren't available to pick while having the card type.

Boseiju has you search for a card with a basic land type. This is why you can find a tri-land like Raffine's Tower with it, but Wastes doesn't have a basic land type.
Cleansing Wildfire has you search for a basic land. Wastes is a basic land so you can find it.
