Urabrask / Spellchain Scatter
So this needs to be fixed ASAP.
I just got killed by a hacker who was able to loop an infinite situation to whittle me down. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but if it’s not and you use this technique to win, you’re scum.
With Urabrask on the field, it’s affect states:
“Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, Urabrask deals one damage to target opponent, add one red mana.”
Opponent then played Spellchain Scatter, an instant that allows you to conjure a duplicate of the next instant or sorcery spell you play. Immediately played a second Spellchain Scatter, which caused an infinite loop due to the mana being gained from Urabrask, and it pinging for one damage every time.
I’m not sure if this is legal but I can’t see how it would be allowed!!! There is literally no counter if you have no mana available yourself.
Cheaters name on Arena is GerVasO.
This is straight up garbage and not how magic is meant to be played! Beyond ****** to see this kind of **** being exploited in mythic ranks.

Ditto. Came back after a year and still see this garbage, same issue, different cards. Back to BG3.

It's not a bug/hack/exploit, it's just Alchemy being hot garbage. It's an instance of an infinite combo, albeit one enabled by trash Alchemy mechanics.
