Elas Il-Kor
I attacked with Elas Il-Kor, while he had Hero's Heirloom attached. He was a 4/3. My opponent defended with a 4/4 and a 2/2, and yet for no reason I was able to trample through for 2 damage. I won moments later purely due to that damage. How did that happen?

Elas Il-Kor has deathtouch, so it only needs to assign 1 damage to blockers for it to be lethal. As you gave it trample, all the excess damage can go to the player it is attacking
