I was playing a game just now, and in one of the games the opponent used the second effect of his Espeth, which is to look for a card and put it on the battlefield with a shield counter. The card chosen by the opponent was Pacifism, in which the creature enchants (target) cannot attack or block. The problem starts there, As my commander is Shalai, Voice of Abundance and he was on the field, the effect of Pacifism in question should not affect my card, since my creatures were with magic resistance. On several occasions I have witnessed this favoritism towards opponents during games. And as I complain the game gets even worse for me, it is true that the game was made to favor those who buy within the game, because the bugs are completely insane. From destroying all creatures without giving a chance to use a counter spell (because I had leftover mana and a card to use as a counter spell), to destroying an indestructible creature, and yes, destroying it, I'm not talking about exile. And now this one, using target spell on a creature with spell resistance. I confess that it is difficult to play like this.

Auras that enter the battlefield from anywhere but the stack don't target. Aura spells target and obviously only exist on the stack. An aura that enters the battlefield in any way other than as a resolving spell will get attached to a legal object/player as its controller chooses. This doesn't target so neither hexproof nor shroud nor ward will stop this. Relevent protection will, though.
