Wastes are getting wasted.
Wastes are not being recognized as “basic land”. In particular, when searching a library. It’s being exploited by players using Field of Ruin.
The opponent uses Field of Ruin to destroy a non-basic land, and during the search step, wastes cannot be selected from the library to replace whatever land was destroyed.

Can confirm: not only Field of Ruin, this also happens with Boseiju and the artifact destroy ability of the card. Hasbro, please fix! This is a disadvantage which doesn't happen in reality.
