invasion of alara
If I exile with invasion of alara nicol bolas the ravager and decide to cast it without paying it's manacost, it doesn't allow me to cast the flipped side nicol bolas the arisen which it should

No, you can't cast the flipped side. It can only transform into it. I have thought of the same thing :)
