Several Cards Need To Be Banned In Historic A.S.A.P.
The Historic meta is being dominated by certain decks & the vast majority of them feature the Sheoldred / One Ring combo with Bowmaster, broken Equipment / Aura decks, some form of tribal (Wizards, Elves, Artifacts, Merfolk, Goblins), Teferi, Hero of Dominiaria with counterspells & usually Shark Typhoon, or if not that broken combo / graveyard recursion decks (Charbelcher, Emergent Ultimatum, Yawgmoth, Dragonstorm, Serra's Emissary, Mizzix Mastery, Scurry Oak, Greasefang, Griselbrand, etc)
It is simply not fun at all to play against whatever version of these same decks roughly 85% of matches. Formats (especially Historic) should be MUCH more diverse than this or you risk losing player interest! They will simply find more engaging games to spend money on instead.
Average players (the majority of the playerbase) were desperately hoping that with the recent ban rotation these issues would be addressed! Instead, we get absolutely nothing relevant at all, the reason being that WotC felt that at the TOP levels of play, the meta was fair & balanced at a recent modern format Pro Tour...
Banlists shouldn't be dictated by the top 1% of pro players, they should be dictated by the vast majority of the average playerbase to keep gameplay fun & engaging for everyone at all levels of play.
People desperately want to see several of the cards on this list banned in Historic to keep matches entertaining & not repetitive or frustrating. Even if one of the inclusions for each deck on the list below is banned most of the decks would still be playable, just not severely overtuned like they currently are & would greatly benefit the Historic format overall.
Majorly unbalanced or otherwise potentially problematic cards:
- Goblin Charbelcher
- The One Ring
- Orcish Bowmasters
- Sheoldred The Apocalypse
- Yawgmoth, Thran Physician
- Tefari, Hero of Dominiaria
- Shark Typhoon
- Sigarda's Aid
- Kemba's Outfitter
- Colossus Hammer
- Kemba, Kha Enduring
- Cacophony Scamp
- Serra's Emissary
- Emergent Ultimatum
- Greasefang, Okiba Boss
- Unburial Rites
- Dragonstorm
- Mizzix Mastery
- Scholar of the Lost Trove
- Indomitable Creativity
- Griselbrand
- Queza, Augur of Agonies
- Collected Company
- Storm the Festival
- Solemnity
- Nine Lives
- Scurry Oak
- Elvish Archdruid
- Allosaurus Sheppard
- Elvish Warmaster
- Muxus, Goblin Grandee
- Irencraig Feat
- Krenko, Mob Boss
- All That Glitters
- Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice
- Kor Spiritdancer
- Lurrus of the Dream Den
- Minion of the Mighty
- Crucias, Titan of the Waves
- Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
- Fae of Wishes
- Liquimetal Coating
- Karn, the Great Creator
- Platinum Angel
- Maze's End
- Approach of the Second Sun
- Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
- Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines
- Hushbringer
- Strict Proctor
- Overwhelming Splendor
- Liliana of the Veil
- Cauldron Familiar
Note - Some of these cards are much more easily dealt with than others, i.e creature removal, but even still becomes frustrating when they overtake the entire format & are in almost every deck you play against for months at a time. Imo, the real issues are the combos that lock players out of doing anything, like Nine Lives / Solemnity, Karn / Liquimetal or Mizzix Mastery / Emergent Ultimatum combos for example. The idea of Magic is to have fun building & playing against a wide array of diverse decks. The cards on this list are all potential targets to help knock down the power level & thus the prevailency of the same decks constantly overwhelming the Historic format meta. Banning cards more frequently to shake up the repetitive meta is a productive thing for the Historic format overall!

You've described about a dozen deck archetypes. That sounds like the very definition of a healthy meta.
