Beseech The Mirror is bugged
Was just playing and Beseech the Mirror has to be bugged with some crazy shenanigans.
My OP is using bargain to sacrifice so they're able to cast the card that is searched for, but the Bargained card is going back into their hand, ultimately creating a prison effect while looping The One Ring. There was a Rest In Peace in play, so whatever was sacrificed should just be exiled.
Step 1. Bargain Beseech the Mirror
Step 2. They cast the free spell.
Step 3. The bargained card is supposed to be sacrificed, but is now in their hand.

Same issue, I sacrificed a Gloomshrieker (exiles itself when it dies) to Beseech the Mirror and the Gloomshrieker returned to my hand. Seems like Beseech treats the sacrificed card like an uncast tutor target and returns it to your hand if the sacrificed card would otherwise be exiled. I don't think beseech is supposed to treat bargained cards the same as the tutor target, but since it all resolves at once maybe it's right

Faced the same bug. When I used Beseech The Mirror and bargained Prophetic Prism while Rest in Peace is in play, the bargained cost went back to my hand after Beseech The Mirror resolved, which should not happen in paper Magic.
Attached pictures showed my test process with sparky. -

Came to add this bug as well - I am playing a WB mirror deck in explorer and noticed in a sideboard game I got back the card I sacrificed while there was a Rest in Peace in play.

I was brewing a Doom Foretold explorer deck and I discovered this curious interaction with Beseech the Mirror and Rest in Peace:
If you cast Beseech the Mirror with its Bargain cost, and Rest in Peace is on the battlefield, the sacrificed artifact / enchantment will be exiled as well, and for some reasons after Beseech resolution the sacrificed permanent will come back to our hand as well.
I think that's because of Beseech's wording: since both the tutored card and the sacrificed one will go to the exile at the very same time, I guess the game count both as "THE EXILED CARD" Beseech talks about, and that's why the tutored one is casted and the other one comes back to our hand.
Now the question is: is it a bug or is it a real feature? I'd really like to figure it out, because it would be a MASSIVE gamechanger.

Can confirm. I bargained away Lanterns' Lift (the Disturb side of Lantern Bearer, which goes to exile if it would be put into a graveyard) and the Lantern Bearer came back to my hand. It seems the game incorrectly sees a bargained card that ends up in exile as an "exiled card that wasn't cast this way"
