More cards in deck than allowed
Openette's deck with 240 cards and my deck with 54, this in standard ranked.

Again just played an opponent with 240+ cards. It is just so annoying as the algorithm never seems to effect how they draw their land. It went to 5 turn and they never missed a land drop and funny enough I didn't.
Also I started with 3 lands and 2 copies of stick fingers and 2 copies of Jewel Thief. I never drew another land
I am seriously considering just not playing until this is sorted. If someone did this to me at the table I would happily watch them firstly struggle to shuffle and then either lambast or cheer their land drawing ability. -

There is no maximum for cards allowed in a deck. Your opponent's 240-card deck was legal.
Your 54-card deck is not legal as there is a minimum deck size, 60 cards. -

It’s indeed generating frustrating and unfair games. The algorithm seems to be incapable in most cases of balancing mana drop between opponents, which turns greatly in favor of 150+ decks. Even if very hard to play, until 150 cards can be beaten by a very, very well built 60 cards deck, but against more cards it makes the game completely unstable. Add to the fact that the matchmaking algorithm tend to place well built 60 cards against these nearly unbeatable 150+ games. So basically, it leads to the understanding that to win and rank up after a certain level (Platinum 2 or 3 apparently), a player will have no other option than to meta like **** a 250 cards deck, generating a stupid game of copycats. As Garfield said in a recent interview, the main issue in Magic is that the deck often plays against you. Here, it’s a perfect example of this statement! Create a separate virtual league for 60+ decks, make it Magic again for fair player, ***** the trolls…

Tell you what's wrong with these decks - getting 4 of a kind turn 4 and me? can't even get a 3rd land - happens way too constantly but in real life IT NEVER HAPPENS!!! Why in gps and paper tournaments do players not play more than 60? = simple you would come last because they don't work - STOP MANIPULATING THE GAMES.

It shouldn't be allowed. Not only does it create the infinite loops as stated before, the actual rule in MTG is that you have to be able to shuffle your deck manually unassisted and 250 is by far too many for almost anyone without large thin hands to be able to shuffle.
It really makes it not fun with the online deck builders existing too.
I'm not saying get rid of large decks, but they should be separate ranked divisions.
Standard and Historic 60 card only.
Standard and Historic 100+
Would not be that hard to change and it would greatly level the playing field for us trying to play traditional 60 card decks.

This may not be a bug - But it is an unfair advantage to the majority of players that
A: Opponent doesn't have the battle of wits
B: Using deck builders online you can pretty much ensure you build an unbeatable deck
C: Increases the chances of excessive "Looping" (Which is a rule breach)
D: If opponent with 60 cards has a solid deck, opponent with 250 cards can force a win just by playing defensively and healing constantly
E: Adds excessive healing "Looping"
F: Force a stalemateThe list goes on and on - There should be a seperate ranked gamemode for standard decks > 60 to create a more even playfield and better experience across the board, at a card meet I wouldn't play 60 cards against 250 it's impossible odds.

Unfortunately, many of these players are using 4+ each of nearly every instant, sorcery and/or enchantment card from each color. If you're playing a constructed -- 60 card deck -- it makes them nearly impossible to fairly compete with. There should be a separate mode of gameplay where users with 100s of cards in their decks can play one another.

It's not against the rules. In fact there is even a companion in the new set that requires at least 20 extra cards in your deck. But as stated in another comment, it is generally not a good idea.

Players having more than 60 cards on Standard Ranked. I encounter a player that had 100+ cards on their deck!! This needs to be looked into

Because the 60 cards requirement is a minimum, not a maximum. However you should try to stick to 60 for better deck consistency as long as [Battle of Wits] is not in Standard.
