So ****** off I can’t play my friends please fix the issue I don’t play as much anymore

Agree with I_Am_Legend here. The primary individual I play with just moved onto another game with a group of friends because we couldn’t play together anymore. Meanwhile… no response.
Is there a community manager here? Product manager? Support staff? Is this MTG Arena product 100% engineers incapable of communicating about the issues?

I’ve worked in software engineering for 20 years and this is the least organized approach to managing a software product I’ve seen yet. Doesn’t give any confidence that our cards aren’t going to just go up and missing at some point and we’ll have no way to communicate with anyone about it except through class action…

Still happy to provide whatever additional logs would help troubleshoot this. Or give me NDA and access to the Terraform, .Net source, AWS or otherwise and I’ll start digging into it and communicating back progress here….

Same exact issue here. This is a huge deal breaker for me. Being able to play with friends directly incentivizes us to play the game regularly to earn more cards, and to build more decks. We want to beat our friends which means more engagement and more money spent to build better decks. Without this feature, my whole friend circle just chooses to play something else instead.

Also this has been broken for months, if not years. But has just been getting to the point of unplayable the more updates are released and it is not fixed.

Wizards of the Coast. Fix this or your player base dies. We cant play with our friends. Majority of the time.

Also why do we not have 2 headed dragon, or 4 player commander. Or any updates your player base ACTUALLY wants.

Same happens here I can see threads that are dating back to 4 years ago with this issue whicheans it's an ongoing one and permanent fix hasn't been found yet, before the update it was also happening but some days if ur lucky enough you get the chance to play with friends. Now however it never works, tried all the workarounds. Wizards please do something! Your magic doesn't work! So please as a developer give some feedback to the community. It's becoming ridiculous...

I won't spend another cent on this game until I can reliably play with my friends again.

Same experience, sometimes works, often does not. Various network error logs or could not load deck.

I really think we should Otori… This is seriously frustrating and sad, a great game and not being able to simply play it with friends is just unacceptable!

I think we should get the community together and arrange a spending freeze until they resolve this issue, it has been ongoing for months now, and it isn't a difficult fix. As a programmer, I can tell you with relative certainty that this is a very easy fix, at least it is if they are using anything close to industry standard design.

So… Are we getting this fixed or you are just waiting for everyone to stop playing MTG Arena? Also I received an email about the upcoming Twitch Rivals event… I guess the event should be having lots of errors and not being able to play right? Because if everything goes well for them to play… Then this would look VERY BAD on your end for the community… Respect your community please. Fix the game for us to play with friends

Direct challenges haven’t worked for weeks. My son and I like to play each other. If we can’t do that anymore I don’t see the point in keeping the app or continuing to spend money on it.

Sometimes playing against friends works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems to vary from day to day. Also, sometimes if we both let our game just sit there for awhile, it suddenly allows us to play each other.

Same issue here, please at least put some information on the systems opperational page to say this is a known issue, you are aware of it and are working on it. Then we wouldn't spend hours of quality time trying to get it to work!

Same for me, I have an account an my two children have a respective account and one of us usually suffers this problem, alternating from day to day. As we are using the same machines with the same network equipment it cant be because of PC or network issues, the problem clearly lies with Arena.

Note that i only play historic brawl since there is no commander format in arena yet.
