Mtg Arena - problem server connection
Dear wizards,
This post is to signal a major server connection problem with the mtg arena app.
The game and the app are really amazing, but this problem is seriously ruining it all.
Basically, if you lose internet connection even for just a fraction of a second, the game stall and a message "waiting for the server" appears. But the app never reaches the server again. You can wait for hours looking at this message, but the app will never reconnect. The only way is to shut down the app and starting it again, but this process takes time and, in the meanwhile, you lose the game.
Please belive me, it happenss all the time, even if you lose connection for less than 1 second. And it happens obviously to my opponents as well, as sometimes they just do not play for a while and then suddenly, they start playing again on the following turn, after draining all their timeouts. This is, again, because they had to restart the app to connect again.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM IS NOT RELATEDTO THE DEVICE THAT I USE TO PLAY! It happens on my laptop, as wall as on my i-pad and on my phone.
This is very annoying for many reasons:
1) you spend a lot of time just staring at opponents' timer draining, and then you win the game just because the opponent skipped their turn
2) you spend a lot of time just staring at the 'waiting for the server' message or waiting for the app to restart and load the match again, and then you lose because you skipped one turn;
3) the most interesting part of the game for regular players is to compete for the mythic ranking, and it is annoying and not fair to lose or win according to server connection and not on the basis of the deck and how you play it.
Please, please, please, I urge you to solve this problem as soon as possible. It is ruining the whole game.
This game is too good to be ruined in this way.
Thanks for your attention,
Andrea.

If I change wifi on my pc during a game, it is faster for my to force quit the windows application and relaunch it, than wait for the in-game "reconnecting to server" to work. This is not good.

As I stated in my original post, I went there first and tried everything in that post to no avail.

For about a week now, my Arena client has repeatedly lost connection to the server during normal use. The "Waiting for Server" icon appears no matter what I am doing: Deck building, in matches, attempting to join a match, checking out the store, simply signing in. I have already tried all of the "Performance Issues" suggestions, including restarting my device AND my router. I basically cannot go more than a minute in a match without losing connection, which then takes another minute to reestablish, at which point I have already missed my turn and am several turns behind.
Device: OnePlus 11
OS: Android 11
Reproduce: Just normal playEDIT: I just tried to uninstall and reinstall Arena, thinking maybe something got corrupted. The server drops are happening even during the initial 2GB+ download after you first launch and sign in. I get great download speeds for 30 seconds or so, followed by "Waiting for Server". This isn't an issue with my Wifi, either. I've used several network monitoring tools to ensure that I am not experiencing disconnections in my wireless internet connection, and I can stream hi-def videos no problem. This specifically seems to be connection issues with the MtG Arena server.
