Hulking Raptor applies ward to the spell while it's on the stack
I attempted to counter Hulking Raptor (which has ward 2) and was prompted to pay the ward cost. When I failed to do so, my counterspell went to the graveyard and Hulking Raptor resolved successfully.

In had the same issue. Ward should not work until the creature is on the battlefield.

I had 1 Hulking Raptor in play. Opponent on his turn, with 4 (four) untapped lands and 1 'Raffine, Scheming Seer', taps 3 mana and plays 'Void Rend'; the 'ward (2)' for Hulking Raptor triggered and, as said, the opponent did not have enough mana, so the cost was not paid (last untapped land did not tap). To my surprise 'Void Rend' resolved nonetheless and killed my Hulking Raptor.
Am I missing something or is this a bug? -

That sounds like there was a Roaming Throne on the field naming Dinosaur. Thus the ward would trigger twice.

My opponent attacked me with Hulking Raptor. I declared blocks using my Soaring Sandwing. In response to my declaration of blocks, my opponent had cast Ancestors' Aid, targeting their Hulking Raptor. I responded by casting Cosmium Blast on Hulking Raptor. For some reason, Hulking Raptor's "Ward 2" ability triggers TWICE. Meaning, I would have had to pay the ward cost 2 x 2. As I only had 5 mana available, 2 of which was used to pay for Cosmium Blast's mana cost, I was able to pay the first "Ward 2" trigger, as is normal. However, because of the Hulking Raptor's "Ward 2" ability triggering a second time due to a bug, my Cosmium Blast was countered because I was unable to pay for the additional, bugged "Ward 2" trigger. This directly led to my taking a game loss in Premium Draft.
TLDR: Hulking Raptor's "Ward 2" ability triggered twice upon my targeting it once, making me have to pay the "Ward 2" ability twice lest I have my removal spell countered.
