This is also happening on Ubuntu (via SteamOS) with MTG Arena version: 2025.54.0.10689.1214342

Doesn't have an affect on in-game play. Just annoying. It has been happening for a few days.

It has meant I missed other messages from Sparky that would have been helpful. About other events I have unlocked etc.

How old is this problem?

Since the most recent update, Sparky keeps making an appearance on the main home page and elsewhere saying "What an adventure... You received a quest...etc". It's been quite a while since I completed the tutorial.

Sparky pops up whenever i go to the home screen. Platform: PC (Steam). Says "What an adventure, you're well on your way to a great Planeswalker. You received a quest, ecc" with the Play button glowing. I tried doing a sparky game, going in and out the Tutorial (didnt tried to redo it from scratch tho) but nothing worked.
P.s. an Advice for the others with the same issue (u can at least set at 0% "Voice" in the Audio Setting). It will remove the most (for me) annoyin part of this bug

I believe this is why I cannot play a fresh Install of MTGa. It feels like the Tutorial is trying to run, but it can't so it is running in the background somehow. Weird.

I've tried several restarts and reinstalls without any luck. No more MTGa for me :(

How is this still a bug? Is there even a team working on this game?

Useless ! its rather condescending to have a beginner tutorial start if you have been playing on arena pretty much since its conception with no way to turn it off!

Just an update for those who have had this problem...

It has (for me) finally been fixed by the latest update. Woo hoo!

Also, an update for WotC. I won't be spending any of the gems I have, or adding any $$$s to buy more gems, for the duration of Murders at Karlov Manor being the active set. This is entirely because of this issue.

How on earth such an annoying bug was allowed to remain active for so long is something I'd suggest you take a look at.

It's really stupid that there isn't an option to just turn sparky off. Magic has definitely not gotten better with Hasbro at them helm. I use to love magic, but I get ****** and take breaks from playing all the time now.

Shut up the freaking tutorial!! It's infuriating. EVRY TIME I go back to the main page from a game, the dialogue starts all over.

That's it. Just that. Just shut the **** thing up. You claimed it would be fixed, we've had two updates since and now the **** thing talks even more. Just provide an option to permanently disable the stupid thing.

I've been playing since open beta and this started for me probably 6 months ago. Oddly she turned invisible two updates ago but she's still talking... Settings > Audio > turn Voice to 0, and you don't have to hear Planeswalkers anymore, either.

Every time I go on my profile I get the tutorial with the faerie speaking to me.

I just updated the game and this isn't happening but I now get other Sparky speeches each time I go to the homepage

Bump: A temporary workaround is to go to 'audio-settings' and put 'voice' to zero. Of course, the in-game voices will be disabled as well, but at least Sparky is gone...
