Krydle of Baldur’s Gate: Should not ask for target when no mana is availble
In cases where there is a mana cost for using an ability (in its Alchemy form, for example), the card gets confused.
Whenever I attack, the card asks if I want to designate an attacker to not be blocked—even when I don’t have 2 mana to pay for it, in cases like these. If the required mana is not available, the card ability should skip the targeting step.
I usually just tap on Krydle to get around this, but it’s clearly a bug, and I recall the same problem years ago. Not game breaking, but a QOL bug and confusing nonetheless.

Targeting happens when the trigger is put on the stack. You cannot not put the trigger on the stack, and targeting in and of itself can have effects (like sac triggers for being targeted, or ward). It doesn't matter, that you cannot or don't want to use the offered option when the trigger resolves.
