Missing Schematic Art
Found the common thread among the missing schematic art bugs.
Was trying to apply my schematic Platinum Angel art, but couldn't find it. Rummaged through my collection, and basically:
Schematic art doesn't show up on the alternate art styles ONLY when the card in question has another MTGA printing outside of the Retro Artifacts set. All unique-to-Retro-Artifacts have their schematic art show up and can be selected properly.

Mir ist so etwas Ähnliches passiert – ich war ewig frustriert, als ein Bug in einem Spiel meine ganze Sammlung durcheinanderbrachte. Statt mich weiter zu ärgern, wollte ich einfach kurz abschalten und habe spontan auf https://mostbet.com.de reingeschaut. Für Spieler aus Deutschland gibt es dort spezielle Bonusaktionen, und das hat mich sofort motiviert. Nach ein paar kleineren Runden mit Kartenspielen hatte ich tatsächlich Glück und konnte ein paar Verluste vom Vortag wieder gutmachen. Es ist verrückt, wie schnell man mit der richtigen Stimmung wieder runterkommt und neue Energie bekommt.

So back in March this issue was reported... and they still rolled out the alt art for at least a second time this year without resolving the issue. Shame. I'll be reluctant to get anything in the store from here on out.

The platinum Angel Card art is not appearing in the PC Steam client. I have confirmed with customer service that the alternate card style was purchased successfully and is attached to my account.
Please see the attached screenshot. The style is just completely missing from the UI.
As other users have reported similar styled card arts appear for other retro artifacts that do not have cards in another set.
Since this was part of the store sale on Aug 2, 2024 I assume you're going to see a flood of complaints about it not showing up.

I'm also having the same problem - I collected every single schematic art and now I no longer have access to the ones that have normal print counterparts - Platinum Angel, Ornithopter, Platinum Angel, Mystic Forge, Aetherflux Reservoir, Mox Amber, etc.
I luckily have a weird singleton deck that I use to play solitaire against Sparky - one with every copy of the original schematic art - and the art is preserved if I clone that deck...but hopefully it'll get fixed.
