Was this ever solved? I just had the same thing happen to me in a draft after getting a "Waiting for game server" error.

Device: Google Pixel 9a
Operating system: Android
Attempting to drag a card to defend as the game tells me to results in the cards just sliding left and right across the screen, not engaging as defender(s). Unable to progress. See attached video.
