emergent haunting copied by visage bandit
I had Visage Bandit come into play as a copy of Emergent Haunting after it had already turned into a creature. The Visage Bandit became a copy of Emergent Haunting as the original enchantment in it's original state. Is this the correct, or should it have become the flying spirit version of Emergent Haunting?

All as it should be. Copy effects only copy the base characteristics (what's printed on the card, or what the token has been creates with) and other copy effects. Any effects applied in later layers do not change the copiable values of an object, and thus aren't copied. Copy effects apply in layer 1, everything else comes later.
