Gix Command and Brutal Cathar interaction
I control a Brutal Cathar and the game state is Night Time.
The Cathar is a 3/3 creature
Opponent casts Gix Command choosing to destroy all creatures power 2 or less. The Brutal Cathar is destroyed even though the current state is 3/3.

Gix's Command has two modes chosen. It's quite usual for the modes to be the "destroy everything with power 2 or less", and the "each opponent sacrifices the creature with greatest power". So if your Cathar was your biggest creature, it follows its fallen comrades a second after they are destroyed.
